I like it, the icons are bigger and i's now got that Mac look in the background. I love it.

Is that theme in the store? I turned off the glittery background, it looked too much like a tweeny girl's desktop.

I personally don't care for the update. The friends list is ugly, I like smaller fonts, and the What's New is just ad space (which I already changed for it to default back to my game menu). The new logo is kinda cool at the beginning, and I'm real happy about getting a message indicator near the clock.

I personally don't care for the update. The friends list is ugly, I like smaller fonts, and the What's New is just ad space (which I already changed for it to default back to my game menu). The new logo is kinda cool at the beginning, and I'm real happy about getting a message indicator near the clock.

Yeah, not that special of an update, especially for a milestone version number.

I'm guessing new themes and premium avatars will start hitting the store on Thursday.

Oh yeah, that's right. Can that patent potentially expire sometime in the future?

I know I can do it for Rock Band 2 (in the menus), ZEN Pinball, MLB 09: The Show (for menu music, batter walkups, etc.), and I remember I could do it for the Super Stardust HD but I deleted that demo long ago. I wish more games would incorporate it, especially GTA and Skate.

Skate 2 has this feature.

Turn the glitter off under theme settings.

Just go to theme and select "classic" to get rid of the glitter.

As far as the friends list... I must be the only one who likes the new look... oh well

Yes, I am nuts, the bigger font is for like people that can't see. LOL! I am blind, but come on that does look hideous imo.

I don't like the friends list, but I understand it had to be done that way due to the dynamic backgrounds.

I guess I just don't understand why all the other text in the XMB has no background box and is perfectly readable, but the friends list has to have those ugly grey boxes.

I don't understand it either, but I was reading that it has to do with the darn dynamic backgrounds. I didn't buy the LBP theme yet to see how it all looks, but I hope they can fix some of this.
