I don't think the update is stupid per-say. I just think it was stupid to waste a major update number (3.00) on this particular update.

That being said I like the bigger font, and look forward to seeing more dynamic themes.

Loving that Afrika theme!

I currently use an awesome Jordan one but that looks pretty amazing. I wonder if there is a good dynamic fish tank / reef theme?

Yeah they do since some of us younger cats hate that large font. LOL!

I wish we could turn off the PSN store pop up windows though, those are not my thing and it feels like it just clutters up the nice XMB.

Yeah, it had decent stuff but it should have been more as it was touted a major update.

Play music in games. Don't see why it isn't available most of the time...

Also, if we could turn off notifications for friends who sign on and offline, but leave notifications on for when receiving a message.

Damn Russell, mandate at least one or more of these features custom soundtracks also mandate screen shot capture, mandate youtube uploading. Put the screws to these bastards like MS. I see your sales have doubled since the slim annoucement. make sure developers take advantage of things that are a simple home button push away and are part of the OS.

And since you guys have dynamic themes at 3 bucks a pop. If I buy a game and log onto the server It should preview a dynamic theme pertaining to the game and or DLC pertaining to the game of course this can be skipped if the end-user doesn't care to sit through it.

I REALLY wish we could use that photo capture feature for EVERY game... that would be SWEEEEEET.
