So...apparently Home's 1.3 patch is bricking previous installations of it. Oops.

I'm trying to delete Home (the whole thing) and reinstall it - that seems to be working for some people. Man, that's gonna be a lot of room downloading again....

I don't think so. It will be a significant revenue stream for Sony in the future. Some technology created within home should and will benefit some online portions/experiences in games.

Sitting in a marketing class yes your statement is accurate but when you go into home and see how it performs, I just dont know how anyone would stay in there for a long period of time. Let alone shop for anything.

On a side note on joystiq.com they have an article showing that Microsoft is stealing the Home idea and making their own arcade space. It bet it gets implemented and performs better then Home.

Not knockin' Sony, I prefer my PS3. I just don't hold Home in high regards.

The best thing about Home is that when you delete it frees up quite a bit of room on the HDD.

Yeah, I made the same comment in the 2K thread to the developer. No matter how much money MS put on the table for the demo to be 2 weeks exclusive, 2K is dumb here because they probably did lose on some potential sales with no demo considering that the Live demo has been out now for sometime.
