U cant even use the dashboard when your playin a backward compatible compatible game all u can do is start the music and play the game u with no control. also the original xbox had the same setup like the ps3 where some games let you play your music through the game and not over it. Xbox basically has their custom music as a mandatory requirement for the game to even be released on their console.

Which is great. I wish the PS3 had this, dearly.

They added face book like 360 did? I don't see it. I'm guessing i got to go to it using the browser? I know before i couldn't check everything on face book using the browser.

If I buy the downloadable Final Fantasy VII (or any other PSone classic, for that matter) on his console, will I be able to re-download it for free if I get my own PS3 in the future?

I know you can do this on Live, and it seems like you should be able to do it, but I'm just not sure. I want to know the deal before I buy, u know?

Well, now I'll probably get Flower and/or Smash Cars.

Smash Cars at $15 would be the biggest waste of money. It is fun, but it's not a $15 game when you look at games like ZEN Pinball and Rag Doll Kung Fu for $10.
