From the videos (and budget price) I thought I was going to buy Sonic Racing but the demo wasn't very impressive or fun at all.

Frame rate isn't perfect, drift controls aren't as simple as Mario Kart and the stadium announcer is annoying.

I just bought Syphon Filter 2 & 3..I love those games. And I bought the MGS 1.

I've bought a couple. I still have a PS One that works and play it from time to time. I have bought the first Tomb Raider and Destruction Derby because my PS One discs don't work anymore.

yeah..I was excited to buy Sonic Racing as well, but after the demo, imo, its not worth the $50 price tag. I was hoping to get it to hold me over til ModNation Racers, but I'll have plenty of games to hold me til then.

why have a ps1 when the ps3 will play the games?

For one, I'm a collector of video games and consoles and have everyone I've ever owned. Not only that, but the PS3 I have doesn't play PS1 games.
