Re: Playstation Network and Discussion Part Deux
PlayStation®Network Maintenance
<table name="Answer_info"><tbody><tr><td> Answer ID: 312 Product: PlayStation®Network-Network Status
</td></tr></tbody></table> The PlayStation Network will be taken offline for maintenance on Tuesday, September 21, 2010, for approximately 9 hours during the following maintenance window:
Down Time (Start): Tuesday, September 21, 8:05 AM, Pacific Time
Down Time (End): Tuesday, September 21, 5:00 PM, Pacific Time
During this time you may:
- Not be able to access the PlayStation®Store
- Have difficulty signing in to the PlayStation®Network
- Not be able to play online games
- See a maintenance page when attempting to access the PlayStation®Network
Note: When you log into the PlayStation Network, a message may appear which states, "the PlayStation Network has been suspended". This does not mean that your account has been suspended; it simply means the PlayStation Network has been taken offline. Please wait until the maintenance window has passed before attempting to connect to the PlayStation Network again. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.Comment

Re: Playstation Network and Discussion Part Deux
I was scared there for a minute, as a poster had already alluded to, I thought my account got jacked, because I have a few enemies is the virtual universe. Refreshing to know I'm not the only one having these problems. My only concern is that it's never said that my PW or email address was incorrect before, NEVER.Last edited by GreenReign86; 09-21-2010, 02:49 PM.Comment

Re: Playstation Network and Discussion Part Deux
Haha, glad I stole my friend's router (acting more as a client to avoid the building shutting down my Internet) last night to be able to download some demos including both basketball games.
By the way, turns out Joe Danger wasn't a free download. It also bums me more than ZEN Pinball now is (and has nearly turned into a $25 product for me since the DLC tables it has released haha).Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Rumor: Changing PSN ID
According to rumors from a Dutch site, North American and European PlayStation Plus subscribers may soon be able to change their PSN ID names similar to what Japanese PlayStation Network users can already do.
Below is a 'proof video' on How to Change Your PlayStation Network ID courtesy of MATTORULZ via YouTube along with a rough English translation, to quote:
"According to some PS3 hackers who wish to remain anonymous and are in a PS3 development chat channel on EFnet, there are traces of an upcoming PSN feature for Americans and Europeans.
It is about changing your nickname PlayStation Network, and will 'Change display name' to be named.
But what many people probably already know, is the fact that this very very long one feature of the Japanese PlayStation Network, see the video below.
When you add people to your original account name will automatically change to display your chosen name. This feature is expected only for PlayStation Plus members are available."

Re: Playstation Network and Discussion Part Deux
I wish there was a way to change the display name of people on your friends list. A lot of people (like me) have PSN IDs that are different from their OS nicknames, and it would be nice to have them appear as their OS names (or real names, or whatever).Ryan Spencer

It took me 3 hours to download and install the most recent system update.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment
