yeah, although it hinges on selling the 360 they send back, so I still have "3-5 weeks" to reconsider. Maybe I'm just mad no, or finally fed up. I've just got tired of them dying on me.

That is just terrible luck. I'm on my second one right now... if I would have had as much trouble as you I might also think about giving up on it.

I doubt everything is completely resolved with their RROD problems, although it's probably better than even mid 2007. The next one they send me, whether refurbished or completely new, might work 100%..I just don't care anymore. I'm burned out on their crap. Time to move on.

MajorNelson's latest Twitter message is "Yes e knows", so there actually is something up with Live still...I listened to the latest podcast, and supposedly they had fixed most stuff, but apparently there's still issues.

My Live is still totally messed up. I was luckily able to connect with a friend to play COD4, but other than that, it's a total mess. This is my first time that I've had a gold subscription - the free month card that I got back when my first 360 died.

Since I've only really been able to use 2 weeks of my month, I'll call MS to try to get at least my extra 2 weeks back. Sure a free arcade game is nice sometime in the future, but I want to get some online gaming in that I should've gotten.

It was hell just to get the update to assasin's creed onto my X360 (I rented it and it's a pretty good game so far) I just hope that after I buy my XBL gold membership card that there isn't this kind of crap going on when I actually dive into online gaming (with sports titles)

Luck (like someone said)? There were times it wouldn't let me log into Live (not even talking about playing a game, just log into the dashboard)...MS was saying the service was never totally down, maybe it just works pretty well for the few who could get on during issues and shuts the rest out?

I wasnt having problems when some of you were starting to have yours, and I was wondering what all the fuss was about, but now i'm having a hell of a time setting up online matches. I can still play and log on, but this is frustrating.
