Burnout 3: Takedown out now!

Thats right, Xbox classic Burnout 3: Takedown has today been added to the Xbox Originals collection and is available to download for 1200 Microsoft points. What a way to warm up for Burnout: Paradise which is due out soon.

Burnout 3: Takedown is the first new game to be added to Xbox Originals since it launched last month and comes fully loaded with Xbox Live Multiplayer!

I'm guessing since Rare is with MS, there's no chance of Wii VC download either?

well they have MS & Rare, Nintendo, MGM, and Activison all with hands on rights to this game, so it was probably too hard to negotiate. I'm guessing they'll have to release it on both XBLA and Wii VC, if it is to ever come out.

Rumor: Duke Nukem 3D for Xbox Live

Last August, 3D Realms head George Broussard suggested that the studio would like to develop a version of its classic PC first-person shooter, Duke Nukem 3D, for Xbox Live, all but saying that the ball was in Microsoft's court, but unwilling to elaborate with details. On Monday, sources close to 3D Realms, which is separately working on the long-in-development next installment in the beloved franchise, Duke Nukem Forever, confirmed to IGN that Duke Nukem 3D is, in fact, scheduled to debut on Xbox Live within the next several months. And best of all, it'll feature a four-player online cooperative mode over Live. Insiders also allege that it will boast an eight-player online deathmatch mode.

Makes sense, but sucks cause I like at least knowing officially when it's being wonky. I doubt we'll see that XBLA free game anytime soon cause of the lawsuit. That lawsuit won't do a damn thing either, ugh.

I just played through all 4 episodes of Doom on the arcade over the weekend and would love for this rumor to come true!

Any talk of releasing Doom 2 on XBL Arcade too?
