I think if you bought it you can call support and they'll do something. This is still all bs though, it's like saying "Here's a free movie for your troubles" and giving us Gigli. I know they're not obligated to do anything, but jeez, give us some sort of option rather than forcing us to dl crap....

They musta worked out some deal with the Undertow people...because no one was buying it. I suppose they can't just give out points because then they'd have to pay the owners of stuff we buy, whereas now they got the Undertow people to go "Yeah, no one's buying our crappy game, give it away for free" and MS doesn't have to pay anyone.

Just for those who have gotten new 360's due to breakage, or wanting a new version:

All downloaded content (Expansion packs, maps, XBLA games, etc) can only be played when you're logged into your gamertag via Xbox Live. You cannot play offline even though they're on your hard drive. I called Xbox Support and the girl had the audacity to tell me "you'll have to purchase and download them again". I laughed at her, and she laughed back. It's completely f'ed. Just wanted to let people know that if you had Shivering Isles or other downloads, they won't be playable unless you have internet.

I thought EG had this problem and they just gave him points on a free silver account to redownload his stuff?

They did, took me weeks and weeks to get it straight. When my 2nd 360 died, it wasn't worth the hassle anymore.

I can play the games, i'm just required to be signed onto Xbox Live to play them...this doesn't fix it, it's a big problem with the Microsoft DRM. Just gotta deal with it, but it makes me never want to pay for a Marketplace download just in case my current 360 dies again. Look at EG for the problems, he has it worse than all of us. Only 1 gamertag can access the games, unlike before when other silver accts could access it. MS won't do crap, I called them and they told me to pay for it again. I laughed at her on the phone, cackling like an evil villain. I never expected MS to tell me that in an official way.

It sucks, it'll never get changed, I'll just never buy content unless it's something I must have. Definitely won't buy videos and whatnot though. Sometimes the internet goes down, what if I want to watch the damn movie....just shouldn't be like this. Oh well, i'll deal, I'm just a little person, MS is big.

WTF, I can't recover my gamertag now. I've tried about 10 times and it gets maybe 15% through and then says "Xbox LIVE signup is currently unavailable. Please try again later."

When Dish Network went out over here they didn't say here, we'll give you Spider-man 3 on PPV for free for the week. I got a partial refund and a refund for a certain package.

MS should have just gave everyone an additional month. Or the equivalent of one month of MS points.

Why would MS refund/reimburse us like any other decent company would? Its bad enough we can use our systems for more that 2 months on average, and that the free PSN is catching up to XBL. Stuff like this is causing my 360 to be used less and less.

The game does look different in some spots, and you can see they have replaced some heads on the enemies, and some are still missing. I play this on my pc all the time, but it could be a nicely modded rom I guess. If this was 100% legit, why is it just a speed run?

Oh, I'm denying that cause I would've loved to have gotten some free points, but I was just defending the game cause it doesn't look too bad.
