I beat the game tonight, it's got about 5 hours of gameplay, maybe a bit less. I enjoyed it a lot and it never got boring for me. Is it worth 20 bucks? Eh, pushing it a bit, but at the same point I don't mind rewarding Penny Arcade when it's a free webcomic. I will say that I'm interested to see how the story turns out, and if they add any wrinkles to the gameplay system.

ESRB Update - RBI Baseball, Puzzle Arcade
The ESRB has updated over the weekend with two previously unknown titles possibly coming to the Xbox Live Arcade - RBI Baseball and Puzzle Arcade.
RBI Baseball is the name of a classic Baseball series created by Namco in the mid 80's and early 90's - RBI referring to "Run Batted In", a baseball term. However, whatever this new game is now being published by a new publisher - Six Degrees Games. Currently their website is fairly sparse, claiming they will announce something soon, so whether this game has any relation to the classic game is unknown.
What do we know about Six Degrees Games? Not a lot, just some of the current workers over there. According to linkedin.com at least two of them were big players in JAMDAT - which was a large Mobile games company back in 2006 and then bought out by EA in 2006.
My favorite is this fellow - Gerald DeYoung, who is apparently a producer over at Six Degrees Games. He's got a long list of games he's worked on, like being part of the design team of NBA '08, Producer for Daytona USA on the SEGA Satutn, and my favourite - was a tester for such games as Disney's TaleSpin, Greendog, and Make My Video: Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch for the SEGA CD. Poor guy! You have to start somewhere, that's how the games industry works!
That didn't sound like a stalker at all. Still, there is no proof that this is an Xbox Live Arcade title, but the way it suddenly pops up without prior acknowledgment is very much like a lot of other XBLA titles.
Puzzle Arcade is a game being developed by Eidos. From the looks of it, it might be the new name of Fractal Jigsaw - announced last year. It's been rated by several other sites such as the UK's PEGI rating system under the Xbox Live Arcade tab. Does Braid have competition?
Hopefully we'll hear from these projects soon. Certainly something different for the Xbox Live Arcade, if they're coming.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade discussion Part III
If they make customizable like TSB for the DS, then it would be the best baseball game on the 360.Comment

Technically, if it's 360 only download release, it could have real teams and rosters based on 2K's terrible agreement.Comment

Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade discussion Part III
I don't know, but I doubt that MS would want to go through the cost getting both the MLB and MLBPA licenses just for RBI baseball...It'd be cool if I was wrong though...Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Vigilante 8: Arcade Exposed
Price point, features and vehicle list revealed. New media included.
IGN: We understand that this game is neither a true sequel to the second game, but nor is it a true port. Explain the content within Vigilante 8: Arcade.
Morawiec: We like the term "re-imagined." Early in the project, we had to make the decision whether to simply port the old game(s), develop a remake, or create V8: Part III. The first option would satisfy only the most passionate of fans, while the third option would confuse all the newcomers; it's been 10 years! So, a remake seemed the best way to go — a fresh new game, strongly rooted in the original themes and gameplay, but custom-tailored for today's hardware. You will recognize the characters, cars, and arenas, but it's a new interpretation.IGN: What's the single-player mode like in Vigilante 8: Arcade? Any exclusive content to the Xbox Live Arcade release?
Morawiec: Single-player comes with four options: Quest, Quick Battle, Custom Battle, and Free Wheelin'. The Quest is a progression of a few progressively harder battles for each character, interspersed with fun narrative, culminating in a Boss fight. We are excited to reveal in this interview that the unlockables in this mode are… the *original* V8 vehicles, in all their low-poly, pixelated glory! Once unlocked, these cars can be used in any other mode, including online. We think the hardcore V8 fans will especially appreciate this, even if just to compare how far the game has come in terms visuals. Quick Battle lets players jump straight into battle with just a few button clicks. In Custom Battle, players can customize all aspects of the match – the arena, wreck count, the bots. Free Wheelin' is a new mode, where you can experience the arenas without any bots present, just having fun destroying things and finding 'alien artifacts' for a secret unlockable (wink-wink).IGN: What kind of improvements have you been able to make thanks to the Xbox 360 hardware?
Morawiec: The improvements are primarily in the area of new technology and HD visuals, so the feeling of immersion is far greater. The car physics are more realistic and sophisticated, the terrain surfaces are patch-rendered for ultra smoothness, and you can now see across the entire arena. We are able to deliver impressive amounts of destruction, particle effects, water effects and more, but the biggest addition is obviously online multiplayer and full integration with Xbox LIVE.IGN: What kind of multiplayer modes are we going to see in the game?
Morawiec: We support both local split-screen (up to 4 players, with up to 4 additional bots) and online multiplayer (up to 8 players). In both modes, battles can be set up as either Deathmatch or Team Co-Op. One cool feature is the ability to play co-op with more than just two teams. Victory is based on whoever first reaches the pre-determined 'wreck count'. In our humble opinion, the multiplayer fun factor is through the roof – the amount of action and chaos is really unprecedented.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment
