Did you buy the extended warranty from Sony or the store with your system?
How long is the Sony factory warranty?
I have just sold my 360 and will be purchasing the PS3 probably this weekend. Any feedback is appreciated. I know the PS3 is much more reliable then the 360 but i'm curious as to what everyone is buying.Comment

As long as its within 30 days, you can still get it I believe. Just go back there with the receipt and you should be good to go. Call just in case but I'm pretty sure from what I remember.Comment

Thanks aukevin, I appreciate it. Anything else you or anyone wants to add as far as "cool things the ps3 can do"? I want to make sure I am getting the most out of this thing and would hate to be 2 years down the road and finding out that I could do something pretty cool with it that I never knew about before.

Well guys, I just got my 360 and all my stuff with it sold and am about to take the plunge and buy a PS3.
I've been looking for something to play some blu-ray's with and really was disappointed with the 360 as it failed so many times on me. I have decided to get a PS3 due to the first party games and really have been a big sony fan.
Any really stellar games to get?
I'm planning on getting the 40 gig console in the next few weeks, CoD4 and possibly one or two more games, what are the must buys?Comment

1080i question...
My tv plays 720p and 1080i but some games only play in 720p and not 1080i, is there a work around this?
