Perhaps I should have been more clear (although I wasn't even sure whether it was video files or movies lol).

This issue popped up on me last night and at first I didn't know what happened. I was playing The Show fine, I'm not sure if my controller was set to #2 as I was actually playing or not though. But at the end of the game I was looking at the player of the game screen but when I hit triangle to exit out and quit the game, nothing happened. I thought the game had froze on me. Then I realized that my controller was assigned to #2, so I switched it to #1 real quick and I was able to get out of that menu. Very strange because it either switched to #2 at the end of the game or it was #2 the whole game and never had a problem with it until I was viewing the player of the game screen. Just thought I'd let you guys with the Nyko USB thing know, so you don't think The Show froze on you or anything if it happens to you.

Mine was fine with the controller being #2 last night...I'll keep an eye on it, but I can't see it being a problem. I don't know what happened with that situation, just seems weird. If I ever have 4 people playing at once (which I highly doubt) I'll just unplug the Nyko.

I played one exhibition game where the controller was probably on #2 and had no problems. It was on my first RTTS game though when I thought the game froze on me because I remember thinking "crap I'm going to have to recreate my player again." But luckily it was just the issue of the controller being #2. Just watch out for that possibly happening, I wouldn't want you to reset your game thinking it froze like I almost did last night.

You could be like me and wonder why settings in The Show would NEVER save. I kept changing the P1 settings even though my controller was P2 everytime. That threw me for a loop for awhile.

I was just starting to ask myself that about the settings lol...hmm, i'll have to think about this issue a bit more. I think I'll just reassign via the PS button and deal with that. It's much too nice to have the IR in all the time, so I can deal with reassigning quick. Lesser of two evils IMO.

LOL, I never thought about that. I think now that you mentioned it, that happened to me last night. I was wondering why all of a sudden the next game I played, the plate indicator wasn't on anymore. It must be because my controller changed assignments. Good catch.

I agree with mgo, changing the assignment is still better than having a second controller if you watch videos or movies a lot on the PS3.
