just take it back to the store and ask to swap for a new one and pay the difference for upgrading to the 80gb version

Stores dont just take systems back for no reason right, even with a warranty ?

I always thought there had to be a valid reason to return it. Plus most stores only have a 30-day return policy.

When i put a game or blu ray in the ps3 it doesn't show the DVD logo where i can click on it to play it. Anyone know why

There not ps3 experts there not gunna do extensive testing on it when u return it. Plus it would cost $115 to buy Msg4 and ds3 controller seperately. Might as well upgrade for 100 plus u gain the 40gb in size and the extra usb ports. Plus u dont have to pay for another warranty since it will be within 90 days.

Ill will be swappin my 40gb ps3 for the 80gb once it comes out.

Picked up a PS3 this week along with the Show. now i can`t wait for Metal Gear. Which is one of the big reasons i purchased the PS3.
