My Cuz has a 40G PS3...I have a 60. I brought his home to dl a few demos & firmware updates, & some patches. i noticed his 40 is a HELLA lot quieter than mine. why is the 60 much louder than the 40?

I still have my old 60GB although I swapped and installed a 160GB drive. Since I still have my PS2, I did contemplate selling it to get one of the newer ones

I've thought about it a few times, but there are 2 more PS2 games I want to finish before consideration. I never use BC..........if the 60gb isn't selling for much, might not be worth the trouble.

you can get a pretty good penny for a good working 60gb on ebay.

I saw on ebay they are going between $300-$330. Not bad.

I think I'm going to keep mine. I still have PS2 games to finish as well as getting some classic PS1 games.

I am glad that Sony is finally releasing better PS1 classic games. FF VII and MGS should be the start of their best classic games getting released

I read this somewhere else too, the PS3 could cut the cost of the PS3 by $100 this August.

Yeah that is the rumor floating around. They seem to want to cut it down by the time around Madden hits.
