    360 died........

I have the 2 year warranty from best buy though. I found out they have changed their policy, no longer just give you a new one in the store, they send it in. Anyone know about how long it will take to get it back? Is it a new one or do they just repair the old one?

I have an PRP from Best Buy and my 360 died last month. I took it in and they replaced it right there. They even let me keep my old hard drive.

I would double check on that. The PRP's here are replaced at the store, no send off.

        Yeah in and out.

Ask for the manager, if you still have a problem, go to a different BB. I've never heard this problem before.

They have 2 different plans, a replacement and repair plan, maybe you have the repair plan.

I don't think Best Buy offers the repair plan on video games systems...just the replacement plan.

And to the OP, definitely try a manager or another store as they should do the exhange right there at the store. That's the whole point of the replacement plan that you paid for.

Sure they do, I just got a new 360 from there and those were my options. With the repair they send it out.
