Ok I'm a bit confused. I bought the 60gig system as that's all I really need HD wise.
My daughter wanted a 360 for her own so that is mainly why I bought a whole system. Anyways if I just swap the HD's would that be easier than just me taking the 60Gig system and giving her my current system?
I'm just confused on the whole transfer of license stuff. If I keep the original system and just swap the HD's so I can get the 60gigs do I need to do the license stuff?

No, but you somehow have to get all the stuff on the old HD to the new one. All the DLC and content is linked to your old console. If you keep that and somehow swap HDs then you don't have to use the DRM tool.

For you guys wanting more space but currently owning a 360 you can just buy a new 120 GB hard drive, works great!

Yeah, and for the low, low price of $135! What a bargain!

HD-DVD player$160 (got it on sale and I still got raped)
extra controller and 2 p-n-c kits (1 of the batteries went dead on me)=$90

yes.

You can redownload anything you've downloaded before. If you're fine with that, then all you need to move over are saves and your profile.

I thought someone from MS said we could use our old themes. Well we can use them, the top 40% of them, but its damn near useless. Oh well, I guess the themes we paid for we soon be replaced by new NXE themes for a nominal fee. Money grabbers.

See, that's something that really irks me. You know they did this on purpose so people will do just that. I'm not one of those people. I've NEVER paid for a theme or gamer pic and I never will. But there are TONS of people that will say "Man, I can't even see my cool theme anymore. That's not kosher M$. I guess I'll PAY for a premium(I'm sorry, but that term just makes me chuckle) theme so I can actually see it."

But there are TONS of people that will say "Man, I can't even see my cool theme anymore. That's not kosher M$. I guess I'll PAY for a premium(I'm sorry, but that term just makes me chuckle) theme so I can actually see it."

What a joke.

Ive bought one theme, a Chicago White Sox this past summer, and I certainly wont be buying any more. Who knows the next time MS needs a cash injection and changes things around again and makes everything you paid for obsolete.

I know companies like M$ are in this business to make money but I absolutely loathe their marketing practices. Everything from their accessories that only work with their system to their ridiculous, almost carnival ticket like, marketplace points system.

And did I forget to mention that with this update I was forced to use up 128MB of precious space on my paltry 13GB HDD? What choive did I have if I wanted to continue using an online service that I"M PAYING FOR! That's about 64 games saves if your counting. And for someone like me that plays a boat load of games and now has less than 800MB of free space, every MB counts!

Yeah, you can do that too...just might take a while depending on how much stuff you have/how big it is.

That's useful. There are a few games I'm ashamed I purchased, and would like to have to ties to them - like Halo 3. Luckily I never got any achievements.

I don't get why we can't delete any game from the list, though. There are a lot of games I played a little and then never did much else with that I'd like to remove from my achievement list.

Deleting game info is a good idea...at least I thought. i thought it would free up space. Nope. Not a single MB. Awesome.

That's a good question. The biggest game save I have without map packs belongs to NCAA 09 because of saved videos and such.
