No I don't think so. The XLR account has too much DLC and trophies so I won't be changing. It's too bad Sony doesn't allow name changes.

Quick PS3 Blu-Ray question. Is there a way to resume where you left off in a movie in the instance you accidently hit stop on the remote? This has happened a few times and I've always had to start the movie all over again. Also, if I watch an hour or so of the movie and want to resume where I left off later that evening or the next day, do I have to go through the entire load up again?

It is suppose to resume (this was added in one of the system updates months ago) but it seems to be flakey on how it works. There must be only a certain way of stopping the movie so that it resumes back where you left off. Also I believe not all discs are resumable.

Some do work though because I rented August Rush once on Blu-Ray and watched it, then a few months later I rented it again and when I put it in to play it started at the end with all the credits (resuming from where I stopped it months in the past).

Who wants to play a PS1 game on the PS3? That's like putting an 8 track player into a Ferrari.

Its worked correctly for me everytime Ive done it. When you stop it are you pressing the stop buttong more then once? I know if you press it more then once it clears out the bookmark for it so in that case it wont start from where you left off, if you press it once then it should work as its worked 100% of the time for myself.

I think there are some nice PS1 games that one might wish to play again. Obviously not sports games, and probably not shooters but classics like Final Fantasy VII are still great games. Some old fighting games were pretty good too. How is playing PS1 MK Trilogy any worse getting the PS Store version of MKII? Also, there are a few PS1 games available in the PS Store as well.

As much as I wanted to love MK Trilogy, it was terrible. The game itself was just a poor attempt to milk the cash cow. It was done with no regard for quality and is a disgrace to the early MK's.

MKII on the PS3 is arcade perfect. An absolute gem.

I chose a bad example. But my point wasn't so much about the quality of the game itself but the fact that a game being on PS1 does not make it unplayable today. Certain genres from that time still retain their appeal from those days. I doubt the poor quality of MK Trilogy was due to it being a PS1 title. IIRC, MK3 was said to be an "arcade-perfect" port when it came out on PS1. Perhaps that would have been a better example.

Ahh, fair enough.

I still think Silent Hill is an amazing game to play on the PS1, despite its age. Scare-adventure that was disturbing on so many different levels. Fantastic game.
