Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
yeah, got it in three days. Pretty easy. The toughest one is getting a 5-star recruit to sign with you as a 2-star team.

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
I'm going to turn back to Lego Harry Potter now and finish that one. Once I do that maybe I'll be more in the mood to play a college football game. I'm still in baseball mode, so I really don't have an itch yet to start up a dynasty, but NCAA 11 is fun to play so I bet I'll enjoying doing a dynasty this year.
chefdad, I was comparing both of our Ghostbusters trophies and saw that you have a few of the online ones but you still need some more. If there are any that we can get together let me know, I haven't gotten any of the online ones for that game.

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
You should be able to hit me up between 830-1130 PST. I get on other times too but that's even a crap shoot lol, in between getting kids, cooking dinner, etc.. but I'm usually always gaming between the above times.
EDIT; The one time when you can find players is Saturday mornings. All the kids with thier PS3's get to play then. LMAO!Last edited by Chef Matt; 07-20-2010, 04:40 PM.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. I'm game. They're not at all difficult just a bit repetitious. The hardest part is finding teams/players to play with. I think the ones that will suck the most is getting all the "hidden" ghosts cause it can be a bit of a crap shoot when they appear.

Yes to the voice chat. I've heard the kiddies on there getting yelled at by their parents on those saturday mornings, the thing is I don't think you can mute them so I turn on my headset and set is aside. lol
Gears, you have this too no? We could all team up and take down the trophies.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
What's more gratifying than beating FFXIII? (no, not platinum - I fear I may have to do a second playthrough for that, if I even try)
SpoilerHow about beating its final boss in 1 minute and 15 seconds to earn ANOTHER gold trophy! Truth be told, the real final boss fight is the one right before it.Comment

I'm hoping that I could get the plat for PES10 but that one requires a bit of work.Last edited by CaptainZombie; 07-22-2010, 10:19 AM.Comment

Although not as fast as you, I don't think I've ever experienced any game with an easy end like that.

Yeah I'm going to play a little SP tonight to get back into the controls, I've played a ton of different games since the last time I played it.

Kev, How's Lego H.P.? I hear it's the best lego game yet. Are the trophies difficult?Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
The trophies for Harry Potter are easy, just like the other Lego games, they are just kind of tedious. I don't really like this game that much but I think it is mainly because I have never seen the Harrry Potter movies, so I have no idea what is really going on. I have no idea if it is going along with the movies or not. The Star Wars and first Indy game were really good to me because they went along with the movies pretty good with the added Lego humor, but the second Indy game I didn't like at all because it didn't really follow anything with the movies and I didn't like the hub world interaction. Harry Potter's hub world is much better.

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
I just got my choker trophy playing as the Tigers against the Royals on MLB 10. It's not a good trophy to own!Justin Verlander pitched great for me giving up 2 runs with 10 strikeouts in 8 innings. I pulled him out of the 9th as he gave up back to back singles and put Valverde into the game. I was up 2-0 and Billy Butler was 3-4 at the plate. He recorded everything ranging from a single to a triple and just needed that home run ball to hit for the cycle.... of course he gets it. Valverde gets the blown save, while Butler gets the walkoff 3 run homerun to complete the cycle. All I get in return is a message at the top telling me I earned the bronze trophy title "Choker". That trophy practically rubbed my disappointing loss right in my face.
