    Since going through that short period of self-doubt yesterday(haa!), I am down to one more cop distinction before heading into the racer missions. What I did was overhaul my cornering habits by NOT slowing down before a turn and quickly tapping the e-brake once for the wide turns and twice for the sharper ones before drifting. No use for L2. With this method, turns are taken waaay faster and I get some overhead for the time penalties.

    Everything I learned about cornering in Gran Turismo is thrown out the window. haha

        I"ll give that a shot. It's definitely the cornering that slows you down in this game even though you seemingly take them perfect when drifting.

            But yes, I think I got something like 5 trophies the first shot. Huge Pac Man fan though, and this is the best yet!

                                            Picked up the Madden 11 platinum fairly quickly. I wish all sports games were so easy to plat, I have earned 2 trophies in NHL 11, and don't really envision earning anymore as they are all based on playing in online leauges which I do not do. I hate the emphasis that online gaming has been getting lately, and now its leaking into trophies....terrible for offline gamers/ trophy hunters like me.

                                                I know the feeling. I didn't think I'd get the KZ plat just for the one trophy that you have to get by placing in the top 1% of the week for online play. What a joke. But with less people playing religously online it made it a bit easier.
