So after I get through Mirrors Edge, I can go through Prince of Persia, Infamous or Assasins creed. I'd rather attack one of the 2 trophy games first so anyone have any recomendations as to which I should play first? PoP or Infamous.

I've played both and enjoyed both, but InFamous would be my choice. That game was a lot of fun. PoP might be the better "trophy" game because it isn't as long and you can get the platinum on one playthrough (if you use the game patch trick to reset the game time counter at the end).

I was gonna go on a big gaming rampage too to get a lot of trophies. Now I'm not so sure.
Can you get wi-fi setup at your home? The problem is, without Internet, you can't sync your trophies with the server when you get them. So you won't be able to compare trophies with people, see the total number of trophies you've earned, see your trophy level, etc. It's fine if you are just trophy-hunting for yourself, but you definitely lose access to some trophy related features without an Internet connection to your PS3.Green Bay Packers | Milwaukee Brewers | Bradley Braves | Wisconsin Badgers

And your gripe about online trophies has been a topic of debate since trophies were introduced. If I didn't have online I would feel the same way..cheated. I actuallly feel that way now on some games. Fight Night R4= Win the online championship? Never gonna happen. LOL Timeless. My parents use to say the same thing 20 years ago.

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
Well I'm not neccesarily a trophy hunter, but I do love the concept. One thing I HATE is trophies asking you to achive the higest rank online. Like skate 2, one is to achive Legend rank. Not likely, but if I ever get a platinum, it's going to be that one. (51%)
Anyone play PAIN? The trophies for that seem rediculous.Comment

interesting in that the ps3trophycard.com website keeps track of the number of your trophies but it does not reconize Battlefield 1943 as a game.follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/eton_riflesComment

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
I've started playing Tomb Raider Underworld, it seems pretty easy to platinum. You can do it in one playthrough if you play the hardest setting first, but I'm not doing that because my first playthrough I like to be on a medium setting so it isn't too frustrating. Pretty fun game, the platforming in it is a bit clunky though.

I will say though to achieve online legend you just need to get a certain amount of medals and exp.on the online matches. It's all a based on exp points. Of course the more you win the higher the points but you don't have to be first in any of them in order to acheive it.
The worst for me was getting all the online challnges 148 if I remember right. While they were the most fun I had with the game they took the longest and some were really hard.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Hey WS. I have the plat for Skate 2 (one of my fav trophies btw). If you have any questions PM me and I'll try to help you out. I haven't played in a while but I remember some things.

So I'd have to pay a computer store and then they'd probably charge me out of the *** when they find out I don't know anything.
I feel cheated on my whole system now. Madden was gonna be a big game for me but now I'm questioning whether to buy it or a leatherbound copy of The Lord of the Rings (I'm a collector of LOTR).
As for trophy hunting, that was a big draw for me getting the system. Then the games I bought didn't have trophy support. Finally got Tiger Woods 10 from the library (library lends out games for PS3, 360, and Wii) and played it, loved it, but don't feel like really trying to accomplish anything since I need to be online for a lot of the stuff. Also like someone said, without internet I can't compare trophies or get ranked.
I was going to make videogames a big hobby of mine but now I'm thinking otherwise. The only other things I do on my downtime are lift weights and read Tolkien books.
/ end of sad story
That'd be sweet if there was a video game library around here.
If you beat the game (by nuking the AN or China), you can't unlock their items, raise their happiness to 100%, and unlock their target destroy/VIP capture missions, unless you already completed all of said tasks before choosing which side to help.
I beat it with China, nuked America, and found that I couldn't get a lot of trophies because America/AN had sealed themselves off from me. Sucks, because I did ALL of the target destroy/VIP capture missions after beating the game.
I do feel special about getting the billionaire trophy, though.Comment

I beat Mercinaries 2 as well, rather quickly actually. I beat it before trophy support, but got a bunch anyway. But there was a bug with one of them (somehting about earning X dollars while logged in) anyway.Comment

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
whitesox, I think that was getting the 1 million trophy. I was using cheats at the begining so it would not let me get that trophy. I turned off the cheats and got most of the trophies now. Tiger, the BVillionare trophy was actually quite easy. You just kept doing the winching challenge until you get it. Took me about 3 hours one Saterday afternoon.follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/eton_riflesComment
