Started my quest for a Platinum on Prince of Persia, I can already see myself having trouble dying under 100 times, the controls are so darn hard to get used to.

Anyway, I know a few people on here have got the plat for PoP, do most of the trophys just come up from playing the game naturally? Can I plat in one playthrough? Any other tips or words of advice for me?

Pretty hard to get a plat on one playthrough unless you do the patch glitch because it takes so much time to find all the light seeds and to do the combat trophy where you have to do each combo (which should definitely been more than a bronze!) that you can't finish the game in the allotted time for the Speed Demon trophy. But if you use the patch glitch it will reset your invisible in-game timer so that you can get the Speed Demon trophy. Basically reject the patch until right before you go into battle with the final boss. Then after you beat the boss you'll get the Speed Demon trophy. There is also a trophy for not dieing too many times, I think the patch resets that too and you'll need that if you want it in one playthrough because the controls are a little funky and you'll die a lot at the beginning of the game until you get the hang of the movements.

Most of the trophies come through progressing through the story, but a few are tough like the combo master one. There's a good guide for getting it on youtube, you just have to create a new game save and play about 30 minutes before you get to the ideal spot to get the combo master trophy. You can miss a couple trophies if you aren't prepared for them. Those pertain to beating each of the 4 main bosses a certain way and you want to make sure you get those trophies the first time you battle them (you refight the same bosses a few times in the game and it's harder to get the trophy in the later battles if possible at all). I think there was another trophy for having a really long combo, you'll have to look on gamefaqs or youtube to find out the combo.

I somehow got the die under 100 times trophy without doing anything with a patch, and I know I had to die way more than 100 times.

Like you said, the trophy to get every combo in the game should have been gold, not bronze. That was the last trophy I got, and it was by far the hardest one to get. I didn't get it until I looked up a list of combos online and went through each of them one by one.

I already downloaded the patch so It seems as if I have to truck through this the ole fashioned way. I am using multiple save games so In case I have to go back and fight a boss (which I've already had to do) I can.

I know the boss that I missed a chance for a trophy was the lady demon boss. You get a trophy for not using the circle button in a fight with her. After your first encounter with her, she almost makes you press the circle button to break her spell on you. I had to play the game again up to the first battle with her to get that trophy.

I got my first platinum!

Took me a little (a lot) longer than expected, but I figured I would just power through the storyline again tonight. So happy right now...and at the same time I never want to see a Rachet and Clank game again...

Just bought TMNT: Turtles In Time (Re-Shelled) since I got two other people to join me, and we did some three player action. I must say, the game is actually pretty difficult. We played on Hard and I know that would make it tougher, but it was just... it was pretty tough. When they left I did some single player on Hard and beat it, but encountered two Game Over's to do it. I'll try it again sometime and see if I do any better.

Anyway, got some trophies and saw them on Facebook, which was pretty cool. Though I thought it was kind of weird that this game has a couple of trophies crediting you for enduring pain (getting electrocuted, getting smashed, etc). I think that those trophies should at least be mystery trophies, because people don't deserve to get easy bronzes just by walking into something deadly. That is all.

As you can see, my Portable ID is now my avatar. I'll update it every so often I guess, but I have to resize it in Photoshop and such every time which is the only real deterrent. But until we can get things where we click on our PSN logo like the 360 Live feature on this site, I guess this is the best way to go about it.

Well with this nice thanksgiving time off my wife has been playin buzz quiz show and I'm now 1 trophy from getting the plat on that! Only had the game about a year and a half, Thanks wife! I feel bad last night I made about 10 quizes that were just jibber to get the trophy for the 20 made quizes.

I put the game down a few months back when i got MLB the show but had 10 quizes already made up. So I did 10 BS quizes for the trophy.

Just need the 50 multiplayer games and I'll have the plat. Should have it by Monday night cause I'm off Monday!

That's great but theres no way I'll be able to plat Buzz that quick especially with MW2 sprinkled in. For some reason it just sucks up all my time.

Oh well that saves me a plat for next month. LOL

Finally got my platinum for Ratchet & Clank after having incredible difficulty with the arcade game within the game itself. Now on to Uncharted 2 finally.
