I'm really looking forward to the Trophy list of Heavy Rain, and to a lesser extent The Show 10.

I'm hoping that SCEA took a page out of Maddens book and makes the trophies in The Show a little easier to attain. I think I ended up only getting 25% of them in '09.

Really interested in how trophies are going to work in Heavy Rain, and surely with all the different endings more than one play through may be required for the platinum.

Yeah I got about the same on the show. I'm really hopin they don't have too many online trophies tbh. I can see a win a game online or win 5 straight type, but winning leagues? idk.

It's nice to finally be collecting some trophies again. Star Ocean's appear to take the Demon's Souls approach, and award them based on beating major bosses. Those are the only times I've gotten one thus far. I'm sure the list is out there, but I don't want to read it for fear of spoiling anything.

From what I've seen of Heavy Rain's trophies, there are 57 of them and 52 are hidden LOL! Spoilers much?

If I were a game developer, I'd make 99 percent of the trophies easily obtainable through gameplay, but then I'd create that one hidden trophy that's impossible to unlock. The thing is that I wouldn't reveal that to anyone the fact that it could never be unlocked.

Well with the Olympics and some personal stuff going on. This is not a good trophy month for me.

Yeah I played through some part in chapter 3 or 4, and there's one part where as soon as I come out of a temple I hear pirates yelling at me and then see the black and white screen lol.

Needless to say after 10 times I decided to take a little break from Uncharted Crushing.

How the heck did anyone get this Uncharted 1 Platinum? I'm dying about once every 10 seconds.

stop playing it like Uncharted. I played it more like a FPS, looking down the gun sights and inched around corners, rather than running up to cover and popping out at enemies.

Also, exploit the AI and level design. There's plenty of spots where they can't flank or shoot you, and you can even avoid some areas completely by running past them for the next cutscene. The AI is pretty stupid when you know how to take advantage of it. There's even ways to beat the gollum dudes later in the game easier.

I died more from platforming errors during my Crushing playthrough than from enemies killing me. Crushing sucks, and I think the game is better on Hard just because you get to play it as intended.

For me it was memorization. I died so many times in certain parts that I memorized where the enemies would be coming from and shot and used cover accordingly.

Spencer what chapter are you up to?

The thing that really gets to me about Uncharted 1 is that every level is like "2 steps forward and 1 step back". What I mean is, after getting through a dozen or so enemies and then going into a slightly new area and dying I get sent alllll the way back to the beginning of the checkpoint. Man this is so frustrating! I guess UC 2's checkpoint system was implemented much better so I was used to having a little more leeway. There's this one part on chapter 7 I've been stuck on for awhile and I spend like 30 minutes on it last night only to go right back to square one.

well like I said, if you're having a really tough time on Crushing, it's because you're playing the difficulty wrong. It's like playing Call of Duty on Veteran, where you have to play it vastly different than the regular difficulty.

I'm playing it a little different, my big problem like I mentioned is getting through a bunch of enemies and then dying when some more pop out only to start all over again.

I believe it's 5 but I could be wrong.

Did you watch a bunch of walkthrough videos on YouTube or something?
