I can't believe im actually posting this, but I got the Uncharted 1 Platinum!

By far the most satisfying plat I have in my collection. Pretty good month for trophies, thank god for these snow days I had a ton of time on my hand to finish off Uncharted and Heavy Rain before the show drops.

Nice man, congrats. I'm still plugging away, on Chapter 9 now. Seems like I can only do about one chapter per sitting because it just gets too frustrating with the constant deaths forcing me to go all the way back to a checkpoint I had passed 10 minutes prior.

I'm not even to the really tough battles yet. :

It really starts to get easy after chapter 14 or 15. Once I got through those few tough battles I flew through the latter half of the game.

Really? That's great to hear, as I am just inching along right now.

There were a few battles that would have been brutal if there weren't glitches/tricks to get through. With that being said the church battle in chapter 19 I think it was was the last really tough battle that took me a long time. Aside from that the rest of the battles weren't so bad in hindsight.

yes you are. If you can get past the plane crash level on crushing, you can beat the rest of the game. I felt it actually got easier as the game went on, and if you're dying a lot, change your strategy.

There's also entire fights you can avoid or exploit to make far easier later on. The final church fight near the end is incredibly easy if you never actually go inside, but stay outside on the steps and snipe people inside.

Yeah, ever since attacking it more like a FPS like you suggested I have been doing a lot better. There are just a few areas where I struggled finding the right strategy/location to attack from.

Good to know the worst is likely behind me. Full steam ahead!

I looked through the list, really the only difficult trophy is getting all the endings. Not even so much difficult as it is time consuming.

I'm about 35% away so I will be trying to get the platinum for this game. I think the only one that could give me a problem is the car scene on the expressway.

Sonic and Sega All-Star Racing has a glitched trophy. Those things drive me mad. It's an easy trophy as well, just race online with a friend. I've probably done 10 races online with people on my friends list and no trophy. If they get that patched this game will probably be platinumed.

Any trophy hunters get affected by the little PS3 Y2K incident?

Luckily for me I hadn't played my PS3 since beating uncharted on crushing and syncing my tophies on friday so I was safe.

I played Sonic Racing on Sunday but I didn't do anything that would unlock a trophy. I didn't play yesterday to see if my trophies are still there or not though. My trophy total on the PSN website is correct although they don't show the Sonic Racing game in the list of games played. My PS3trophycard does show them though:

I did check my trophies last night and at first I had no Sonic trophies, then I put the game in and had a trophy list for the Sonic racing game but no trophies, but as soon as I synced the trophies after putting the game in all my trophies reappeared. So I didn't lose anything *whew*

I lost a few Assassin's Creeds trophies, and I don't think I can get them back. I beat DNA sequence 6, but I do not have the trophy listed. Is there anyway to go back and play this sequence again, or will I need to start from the beginning to get this trophy?

You have to go back and start all over. AC2 did have some very rare glitches that would stop you from getting a sequence trophy, I never encountered it though. Did you play AC2 on March 1st/Feb 29nd?
