Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
Red Dead is a tough one, I'm at least 10 hours in probably closer to 12 and I think I have 6 or 7 seven trophies, all bronze. The mission trophies are few and far between I think I have 3 so far and I've been doing a lot of the missions. I also started ModNation this morning and that game is the complete opposite, you get trophies for everything. I got about 8 or 9 in maybe 2 hours of play.Comment

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
Thanks Kevin. Next up is RDR and either Assassins Creed 2 or Batman Arkham Asylum. Gamefly has Assassins Creed 2 for 17.09 and with my 5.00 coupon it would only be 12.09 for a copy, assuming youve played it of course, would you say its worth roughly 12.00 to own the game?
Challenge mode is just playing through the game again with slightly harder enemies. But you can level your weapons up to level 10 which makes them pretty unstoppable. Also you don't have to find the Zoni or Ryno plans again, if you found them the first time, so it's pretty fast moving through the story. I think I beat Challenge mode in about 5 hours.

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
So I need one more trophy for the Plat on Buzz quiz TV. The Multiplayer one and the requirement is to play 50 multiplayer games. I know I've played at least 60. (I've been keeping a tally) And still no trophy.
I noticed that last night when I was playing I wasn't logged in to the Buzz servers. I wonder if that may have something to do with it or does the game store the data on my PS3 for the trophy to unlock?
FRUSTRATING! I just want that last trophy. I even resorted to trying the buzz glitch thing a while back but that doesn't even work.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. That's crazy that it won't unlock for you. Didn't you say in the past that you deleted for game file and started over and it still didn't work?

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
I deleted everything and started a new tally. I'm going to give it another few days of trying and then move on. Hopefully my OCD for trophies will allow me to shelf it!
BTW The multiplayer trophies for Ghostbusters are pretty easy. The ones I thought I would have a tough time were going to be the ones for capturing all the secret ghosts and earning up to $2,500,000 but money comes pretty easy in games like survival and if you set up a game you can chose where to play and the secret ghosts for each level come up pretty often. On top of that you don't even have to trap them as long as someone on your team does.
Should be another plat AFTER MY QUEST FOR BUZZ!Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
I really need to get into the multiplayer of Ghostbusters. I know I could plat that one if I would just do those. I only missed a couple trophies going through the story mode the first time (destroying some office building and finding the water fountains) but they can be taken care of in level select. I would have to play through again on hard and also not create so much damage next time LOL for those trophies.
I've yet to do it but I found The key to reducing damage is letting the other GB's catch the ghosts and just running through levels. You don't get penalized for their destruction.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
Have you played through the game on hard? I didn't think the game was too difficult on normal but I did have issues on that one level right near the end where you have to fight off the stone cherubs.

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
Not yet. I've been focusing on Multiplayer since the community (while thin) has been pretty easy to get games in. Once I get all those I'm going to finish up the SP component.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
Congrats! Are you going to try for the plat on Buzz Quiz World? It wasn't hard to get at all if you can find some boosting partners.
