Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
It's a secret one...although you most likely have it if you beat the game. (No story spoilers)
SpoilerSpurred to Victory-
Complete 20 story missions while owning the same horse
So basically, I have to have the same horse for at least 20 missions.Comment

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
Good luck to anyone trying to get the Backbreaker Platinum as the tackle alley game is the biggest pain in the *** Ive ever seen. One of the trophies requires you to get through all 100 levels of it and the best Ive done to date is 66, and I sure as hell am not sitting there trying this garbage over and over again. Its extremely difficult since your RB is slower then **** and can get run down from behind by guys youve already juked and then there is the LB/DB's that propel themselves from 5 yards out in an attempt to make a tackle while barely tripping you up making this a royal pain in the ***.Comment

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
I couldnt agree more. Ive got no problem with the going out of bounds issue if it was the normal sidelines but once you get deeper into it, as you definitely know, they start making the field into some ridiculous maze that you have to stay within the red lines or else it counts as you going out of bounds, and all the while you have to avoid/juke multiple guys at the same time. To be perfectly honest, Im going to try and get all the trophies I can stomach and then Im shipping this game back to Gamefly and writing it off because I know for a fact the platinum trophy is impossible for me to achieve.Comment

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
Im 99% sure Im getting this sometime this coming weekend so we should hook up online and play some golf. I too was looking at the trophies for this game and it seems much easier this year compared to last so I might be able to actually get a platinum in a sports game for once.
As for everything else, it's too easy. Have to play a round on the new courses. There's a trophy that's handed you just for loading up a Ryder Cup round (instead of having to play it). Meh.Comment

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
Anyone playing Backbreaker gotten "The Last Gasp" trophy yet? It seems easy enough as it merely states to convert a 4th down in exhibition or league play yet in my last game it was 4th and 4 as it wanted me to kick a FG but instead I went for it to try and get the trophy, I picked up the 1st down by means of a TD but never got the trophy for it. I was winning if that somehow makes a difference, even though it doesnt state that you have to be losing to get the trophy. I sure hope scoring a TD didnt somehow screw it up as thats converting a 4th down technically but Im clueless as to why this didnt pop when I scored. Any tips on what I might be doing wrong?
EDIT- FYI, apparently you cant get this trophy when a TD is how you convert a 4th down as I went for it on 4th down in my next game and picked it up but didnt score and it triggered this time.Last edited by The Chef; 06-10-2010, 04:14 PM.Comment

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
After a long hiatus from getting Plats, I finally got my 10th last night with NCAA10. I will say that this game was a total pain in the *** with what I had to do to get this thing. This was nowhere near easy like some of the other sports titles that I got the plat for.......a very time consuming one.Comment

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
The Season Showdown ones are a pain and require quite a bit of work. Next one up is going to be Infamous, need to complete the evil side and a few other trophies. Hopefully this one is not as much of a pain to get the plat for.Comment

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
inFamous wasn't too bad. Do you have to beat it on hard? It's not too bad especially as evil Cole, though the final boss is a bit of a pain. The only parts of the story that I remember being real tough was that mission where you had to protect the bridge operator while he fixed the bridge, and the fight that takes place on top of the building. After you beat it on hard (if that's what you have to do) change the difficulty back down to easy if you need to finish out purchasing final power upgrades. Your XP (or whatever they call it in this game) increaes a lot faster on the easier levels than it does on Hard.

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
Compared to Darksiders... I would say inFamous has harder bosses and the snipers can really knock you out pretty good on Hard, but with inFamous you can duck and cover and regain health where you can't do that in Darksiders. I really didn't have that much of an issue with Darksiders though. They are both easier than the Uncharteds on Crushing if that means anything to you.
