Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
Do you have the posse up trophy as well?
That'll give me 5 on my list that are actively playing this game right now, if I can get all you guys together. I just need 3 more. I'll head over there (rdr thread) to see if anyone else wants to get in on it.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
If you have 3 or 4 guys you know, that's all you need. Just get the guys you know in the posse, then send invites to everyone else in the public free roam and a couple will probably join you and you'll get the trophy. Last night I got it with just myself, Mizz, Brett, and this local guy I know. The other 4 were random people that joined in.

Of course I should probably get on after work this afternoon and get aquainted with my Donkey and knife.

Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
My first time online with RDR I went and beat all the hideouts in a single public freeroam by myself to get that trophy. By the end of that I was at level 7 so I had a horse and didn't have to be a mexican anymore. It didn't take more than a couple hours. If you're playing co-op missions I don't think your level matters because you choose your player type before the mission and it assigns your weapons.

Is there a place you can check to see which hideouts you've completed?Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
I also picked up the Rockstar kill trophy last night in case you guys don't have that one.
And wtf with the ffa matches. Everyone I got into I got kicked. My guess is they were boosting. May have to do the same with one of you guys to get the trophy for 3 straight FFA lead scoring wins. Otherwise we'll never get it as everyone just keeps kicking you out.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. I don't know if you can check which hideouts you've done or not. You have to do all of them in a single free roam session to get the trophy though, so just pick a starting place and start fighting. You do get a silver out of it.

Yeah no kidding.
I've got all the free roam trophies with the exception of the hideouts one. If you guys need help or want to know how to get any let me know and I'll help you out.
Got the 500 monuted kill trophy
Hit the trail, wanted, posse, etc..
Now I'm going to work on the team/ffa match trophies.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: The Official OS PS3 Trophy Collectors Thread
I went to El Presidio. There's one Gattling gun that looks out one of the entrances. I'd blow up a lantern in there to get a bounty going and then just wipe out all the NPC's that came after me. It was a bit of a grind but really didn't take long. Plus you rack up a ton of XP.
Every once in a while you'll get a random that wants to come in and kill you. So I'd just join a new free roam and rinse and repeat.
If you see me on and want to go for it let me know. It'll be a bit easier with 2 of us. There's another entrance they come in to that's to the side and you have to dismount the gattling and take care of them then go back to the gattling, but if there's 2 then I can watch the other entrances.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon.
