I just picked up 3 trophies in GTA IV I never thought I'd get because I don't touch online much. I first got Let Sleeping Rockstars Lie, Teamplayer, and Cut your teeth. One team deathmatch 3 bronze trophies...not bad.

Ok, just platinum'ed CoD5. That was the most insane test of patience in a WW2 shooter ever. I'm never playing another one again.

Wow congrats, hope you get it.

I don't think I'll get the plat for either of those games by next weekend, but I did pick up 3 more silvers and a gold this afternoon on SW. It'll take a second playthrough on PoP to get the plat and I'm not even halfway through the first yet!

I see we are all picking up our pace a little lol. I just started on my uncharted quest....after about 25 minutes I picked up something like 3 silvers and 2 bronzes.

Cool. I know I can get my wife to play, so we'd at least have 3 so we can get the Savior trophy if you don't have that yet (I need it). Also me and you could do the Tug-o-War trophy stuff. I bet we'd be able to get the 1 mil point trophy as well if we picked a long enough song. We'd need a 4th to get the 8x overdrive trophy though.

Sadly I know I won't ever get the Plat for RB2 because I'm not doing the Steel Bladder challenge.

I didn't think you lost your trophies with a new harddrive since they are tied to your PSN name. Are you starting with a new name as then?

Hey kev, I was thinking about picking up burnout paradise since gamestop and bestbuy have it for 20 bucks new, how are the trophies in the game? Easy or hard? Worth it at 20 bucks?

Definitely worth $20. A few of the trophies are relatively easy as well.

Even if the game didn't have trophies, it would still be worth the $20. I've had a blast playing that game.

As Fish said, you'll be able to pick up a lot of trophies rather quickly in Burnout. Also the fact that the only platinum trophies any of us have picked up have both been in Burnout tells you something about how reasonable the task is.

oh yeah it is worth it, I love Burnout. I can't wait for the new Island pack to be released and I'm sure it will have more trophies with it.

The trophies for Burnout are definitely doable. Most of them you get as you make your way through the offline mode. There are a number of online ones though, so if you want platinum, you'll have to go online. But luckily the online is pretty fun and you'll only need one or two buddies to get most of them. There are 2 trophies that I can think of that require you to be in a room of 8 players online at once. That is a pain to do. I got those trophies the first day the trophy patch came out because there were plenty of people online just trying to get those trophies.
