Would you prefer a platinum that requires less trophies but harder skill level to get (i.e Call of Duty/Uncharted) or a platinum that's stacked full of easier tasks but takes a huge amount of time (Burnout, Resistance 2)?

I prefer ones where you don't have to go online and spend a lot of time, like reaching certain rankings online like you have to on Motorstorm PR. I don't mind online ones like Rock Band has, but the online ones on GH Metallica are too much.

I have always found all of the Guitar Hero Achievements/Trophies to be daunting imo.

I'm iffy about this HAWX game now... A few trophies away from platinum but the game asks for a level 40 ranking. I feel like it's going to take FOREVER. The point intervals for the promotions are HUGE.

On top of that I'd lump in GTA as well. I have every trophy in that game minus 5 or 6 of the online ones. Fact is they are so time consuming and difficult, the platinum isn't worth it. The online burnout trophies I actually enjoyed getting, even though some of them were a tad annoying, I never felt any of them were too difficult, or required days online play logged.

Thanks again spencer, things have really slowed down for me lately because of finals, but I have still been able to pick up some MLB the show trophies. I think UFC will be the the next game I purchase, hopefully those trophies are more user friendly then the show.

I guessed I must have overlooked it last night—on the standings I have you down for 71 total trophies but your Bronze/Silver/Gold only add up to 70.

I don't know. Last week was a huge week for me because of HAWX... now the leftover trophies are so insanely time consuming I think I've hit the wall on that game. I might just swap it for MLB 2k9 because I'm REALLY curious on how it plays, even though I know for sure it's not as good as The Show (which I already own).

I'd be up for some LBP bubble hunts. I could do it after 10 p.m. Central today thru Friday or really anytime over the weekend—I just got to get this damn e-portfolio done by Friday afternoon.

I'm considering getting the Cops and Robbers pack, I'll let you know if I pull the trigger on it.

By the way, how the heck did you manage to get the Jack of all Trades trophy in NHL Arcade? That one is driving me nuts.

I gave myself a little help:

• Use three "Strong" players so you can get as many checks (and thus as many powerups) as possible.

• Set CPU difficulty to EASY.

• Play to 20 goals to give you the most chances to score with all of the powerups.

Then just hope for the best. Even after doing all of the above it took me a couple tries to get the trophy.

Cool, I might be around later tonight, I will look for you. I get more free as the week goes on here, though, it's exam week but I already took one early, one is getting done Thursday morning, and one is take-home. So I should have lots of time. I've got all the bubbles through The Islands (and also have all the levels aced up through there), and I basically just need the x4 section in The Temples to finish that part of the map off too.

Okay, I've been doing all that except that I've been using either Fast/All-Around/Strong or three All-Arounds. I will try and go all Strong. I just don't think I'm all that good at the game, I have a tough time scoring (though it had been several weeks since I played as well until I turned it on last night). I just want to get the gold and 100% the game soon, because the replay value is starting to fade a little bit.
