yeah I figured that too. Somebody made a $10 profit on me LOL When I went to BB, the only $10 game I could find was GH Aerosmith

But $20 is still not bad considering that the game still goes for $50.

Haha. There's plenty to be found at that 2K website... you don't have to dig too deep to find something like this.

I went ahead and swapped for Resident Evil 5. I haven't really played 4 (but plenty of 2 and 3) so this'll be interesting for me.

Yeah, I believe SONY has mandated that any game shipped after Jan. 1 2009 has to have trophies.

There are some exceptions to this rule though.

After looking over the tracklist for rockband 2 its looking like a definite purchase for me. Any insight on the trophies that game offers? Is platinum do-able?

Plat is do-able if you're able to play all instruments on Expert mode. There's a few online related trophies, but they're easier to obtain.

The toughest ones include the Steel Bladder trophy that asks to you play the Endless Setlist (entire tracklist of RB2) without pausing or failing, and one where you have to finish the Endless setlist on Expert.

I don't think anyone here plays for the trophies as a priority though... It's a fun game, and tons of new songs are out each week.

RB2 is a really fun game. The trophies are an added bonus. You should be able to get a lot of them just by playing through the game, but some of them are trickier. The only instrument I can sort of do on expert is drums, so I don't know if I will ever be able to get the platinum without help from my friend. But a good number of them should be doable for me.

Im starting to get in the swing of things with trophies. I just got GH: Metallica, and it has a good bit of trophies here.

Thanks for input guys, I loved RB 1 and like I said looking at the setlist I'm going to enjoy RB2. When I was playing RB 1 alot, I mananged to do all instruments but vocals on expert so I should be ok. Look forward to tackling some of those trophies.

Even though it said shipped, it is not as there is a time period requirement. There have been games released in 09 that have not had trophies.

Thing is, a game has to have been "submitted for certification after January 1, 2009" to fall under this new mandatory Trophy rule. One game used as an example, the recently released and unfortunately mediocre Shellshock 2: Blood Trails, does not have Trophy support. But it was submitted to the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) way back in June 2008, so they didn't need to include Trophies. So for a little while longer, you may want to check the certification date with the ESRB or BBFC before picking up a game with the supposed added bonus of "mandatory Trophy support."

Since we're in May now and support has been out since July, SDK has been out since May-June, this is pretty irrelevant although it can happen.

Not bad, signed up for the MMO thing but didnt see my gamer card there so I dont really know how that works but its supposed to update it automatically twice per week for free unlike the $6.00 to have unlimited auto updates through this website.
