HE'S BAAACK! ALTIMUS RETURNS TO THE TOP FIVE

After spending several weeks getting passed up by several participants, Altimus strikes back by having a strong week and moving from 8th to 5th. The sleeping giant has awoken!

Aukevin has tied SqueakyD for the lead in overall number of trophies. Each has one for every day of the year — 365.

My lack of games is starting to catch up to me as I slip back to 7th.

Welcome marino13882 to the competition! He starts off the competition with a long way to climb, currently owning just 11 trophies.

No trophies this week. Not for lack of play time, I've just been playing GT: WT a lot lately. I'm considering making another game purchase or two soon, but at the same time I already have a sizable library for only having had the system for three months and I still have the Platinum to work for in Uncharted, as well as LBP (though that's probably a pipe dream). I also want to finish the single-player in COD4 despite it's lack of trophies. And I really want to be finished with Uncharted and COD4 before their sequels drop later. Plus I don't want to get a game I am not crazy about when there are other games I am looking forward to (like the aforementioned sequels).

I might pick up Rock Band 2 since I am finally starting to catch on to the music game craze and it has trophies and more songs. My friend brought it over the other day and I loved it. Aside from that, and maybe The Show in the near future, I think the trophy earning is going to be fairly slow for me for awhile.

I think I only got one trophy this past week, a bronze on The Show. I should get more this week though, I'm close to the platinum on Prince of Persia and I'm getting GH: Metallica today.

Ok I couldn't take the falling anymore, so I picked up Blitz II on ebay for 18 bucks. Not a bad game at all, I liked the first one, it's got a good story and 50 trophies.

I figured you'd make a jump in the standings due to Legends of Wrestlemania. That game has tons of gold and silver trophies!

I figured you'd make a jump in the standings due to Legends of Wrestlemania. That game has tons of gold and silver trophies!

For the most part, some of those trophies are easy to obtain. The one with the medals is going to be a pain, I have 2 medals left but I am shy an objective in each match (which are difficult).

STANDINGS SHAKE-UP: 11 PARTICIPANTS CHANGE POSITIONS

What an active week! The big news is GearsX8 has surged into third place, overtaking fishepa! Another couple of big weeks and he'll be right there with the big boys.

Aukevin is the first participant to reach Level 8! Congrats!

Heisman316 made the biggest jump of the week, moving up two spots from 17th to 15th.

FRESH PRINCE: AUKEVIN EARNS PLATINUM FOR PRINCE OF PERSIA



Aukevin earned his third platinum trophy this week with Prince of Persia. He is now tied with SqueakyD for the lead in platinum trophies with three.

A MONSTER PERFORMANCE: RUFFY LEADS IN PIXELJUNK MONSTERS



Ruffy knows his way around a laser tower, as he earned the top trophy progress in the game of the week, PixelJunk Monsters and Encore!

Well, not much progress on my end as I only picked up 2 trophies when messing around on Burnout for 5 mintues the other night but since those are the only trophies I have for that game as well as GTA and COD to get some trophies on I should make progress eventually, if I can find the time to stop playing The Show that is.
