Picked up my first trophy in The Show (walk-off hit).

I was just happy I won the game (it was a wild one, came back from an early 5-0 deficit and scored two in the ninth to win 7-6.

Kevin, from what I remember, Pure was made by the same guys that made the ATV offroad fury games for PS2. Those were some good games so Pure should be good too.

Rainbow Studios made the ATV Off Road Fury 1 and 2 on the PS2
They make all the MX vs ATV games.
They also made the Motocross Madness on the PC.

Pure is made by Black Rock Studios. A new company owned by Disney. Black Rock is made of guys that used to be Climax who made the MotoGP race series.

So, granted it wasn't Rainbow Studios it's still a studio that's made some good motorcycle racing games!

I never dreamed I'd be able to get through both Hard and Crushing in a single Uncharted rental, but actually got the platinum with a few days to spare. This game is just weird at times - I found the early parts of the game (particularly chapters 3 and 4) a lot harder than the final battles. Maybe because I could do a lot more damage with the later weapons (kill them before they kill me kinda thing), but early on your weapon selection is limited and the enemies are still badass.

It was great playing this game again after so long, and I don't think Uncharted 2 will be just a rental for me.

Probably the only plat I'll get for some time, because most of the other retail game trophies I can get are online-heavy (KZ2, LBP), insanely repetitive (GTAIV), or just plain freaking impossible (SFIV, Show). That said, I'll probably be hitting KZ2's single-player mode pretty hard next.

Finally got the Gold trophy in NHL 3v3, making it the second PSN game I have 100% trophy completion in. Thanks for the tips, rspencer! I also changed the game speed from Normal to Slow, and that helped a ton as well. I was still holding my breath at the end, because I felt like I had scored a few goals while powerups were overlapping (super shot against a small goalie for instance), but when it paused at the end before going to stats, I knew I had it.

Definitely, that's one of the few Burnout trophies I have yet to get.

Sweet, yeah all I need to get is that and 100% on my bike license to get all the trophies from the game and the free DLC. I do have the Party Pack and got a few trophies from that (though I doubt I'm ever going to do an 8-player, 8-round party - I suppose I could do one myself just to get the trophy, but I don't know if I'm that cheesy). I doubt I'm going to buy any of the DLC, and I'm leaning towards not picking up Cops and Robbers. But I will probably spring for Big Surf Island when it finally releases.
