Candy, your account is gold again. Did you pay to have it renewed or is the hacker doing it? If so, that's one determined hacker! LOL

Candy sent his 360 in for repair about 3-4 days ago. Doesn't have it back yet.

The account has been online, but what I said was, his account went silver (meaning his gold membership was canceled). About a week later, it's gold again, meaning someone paid the money to have it as a gold account.

Why would a hacker pay to have the account go gold unless he's an idiot?

And Furthermore unless MS got rid of the hacker and gave Candy his account back, why would Candy pay for the account that's been hacked to go gold again?

I know he doesn't use a credit card ever. He uses the 12 month cards. So unless he used it (Which would be totally stupid as he doesn't have his 360) I'd say.. well I don't know what to say.
I'm just going to drop it. Like I said I'm pretty positive I know who did/is doing this, but this is getting old and I need to worry about more important things...like Madden 10.

Hey guys, use your heads. If I was able to sign into Xbox.com, that would mean that I knew my Windows live ID, which means that I would of just been able to recover my account onto my 360 in the first place. I just got confirmation from MS that I should be getting a email containing a link to reset my Live ID. Then I will use my reseted ID to recover my account when I get my 360 back.

If I was able to sign into Xbox.com, that would mean that I knew my Windows live ID, which means that I would of just been able to recover my account onto my 360 in the first place. I just got confirmation from MS that I should be getting a email containing a link to reset my Live ID. Then I will use my reseted ID to recover my account when I get my 360 back.

People are using their heads. You could be 100% innocent, but the evidence makes you look otherwise. There's just too many things that have been commented on in this thread that make people think something's up.

I'm surprised it's almost been a month though. Ignoring everything else, I still find it hard to believe MS would take this long to deal with matters of fraud and theft.

Well they have, I am really pissed off at them also. Its been all due to the fact that they:

1-Spelled my email wrong the first time
2-Proceded to not change my email 3 more times.

So case in point this was technically resolved but due to thier foreign Customer Service operators, they have sent the resolution email to the wrong email. Every time they have to send it out again I have to wait 10 more freaking business days. -_-

Yeah. He had a CC number (Debit card) in ths system. I believe it used to be his dad's. He enters the 12 month card number before it expires so it doesn't charge the CC number. That's the way it was and believe that's what he still does it.....

I just think it's hilarious that the hacker had the account go silver on him, and paid the yearly fee to get it back to gold. That one is possibly the funniest thing I've seen.

That's like a car thief stealing a car, stopping off at Best Buy and having a stereo installed in it.
