Re: Microsoft E3 Discussion
It's the same gripes people had for the Wii. "Oh, I play games to relax, not swing my arms playing baseball". That's fine, then don't buy it. There's people that will never like Halo, Call of Duty, Metal Gear, or even EA sports games because they use a controller. These kinds of more natural interactions will appeal to them.Talk about flawed logic. Yes a person may be able to play any sport for real if they want but last time I checked an ordinary person can not just play in the NBA, PGA ,NFL, NHL or any other pro sports league anytime they want to. Last time I checked there are no basketball games about playing at the Y.
Comparing it to something like talking to another human being which anybody can do is not the same at all.
The difference is, that MS is very focused on providing games for many kinds of audiences, while the Wii is kind of lacking in that regard.Comment

Because that is what is I meant as opposed to being more athletically gifted at a particular sport. I guess the other poster was right when he said talking to an artificial intelligence might be better than talking to some people at OS.
^^^Agreed but doesn't change the fact that person's logic was flawed. MS should draw in some more people with this, never said that was a bad thing.Last edited by mgoblue678; 06-01-2009, 03:08 PM.My Teams

Re: Microsoft E3 Discussion
LOL, won't happen, like I said to much invested with the PS3, also with titles like uncharted 2, God Of War III and MLB the show, I will be sitting with Sony until this gen is over.
While being impressed with MS today, there is really nothing to make me run and get another 360, the motion thing was blah, I wouldn't ever use it, had the Wii and got rid of it already, the face book thing looks cool, but thats what my PC is for. I'm into just gaming, and gaming only, not into the movies on my system or much of anything else.Last edited by RoyalBoyle78; 06-01-2009, 03:15 PM.N.Y Mets

Re: Microsoft E3 Discussion
I thought that was a pretty good dig at The Big N with saying its not preset Waggle Commands. LOL
The one guy out there showing it real time with his avatar, was cool and all but it seemed quite jerky and not very responsive in my opinion. Avatar was getting twisted and inverted a few times. Anyone else notice this?
According to this guy the Natal is going to be $200.00 don't know where he got the number though. Lot a cash for a peripheral. If it can do everything they showed and get a few of the kinks out it will be well worth it.Last edited by BKAraujo; 06-01-2009, 03:14 PM.Comment

And you just made a point to why we say ur logic is flawed.....
Ive always hated painting, coloring and drawlin but I bet my painting will come out half desent compared if I did it by hand vs my 360....Last edited by Jukeman; 06-01-2009, 03:15 PM.Comment

Re: Microsoft E3 Discussion
Care to explain jukeman.
As for the rest of the show I was most impressed with Splinter Cell Conviction and Alan Wake. Both those looked pretty sweet.Last edited by mgoblue678; 06-01-2009, 03:17 PM.My Teams

Re: Microsoft E3 Discussion
I've just been sitting here thinking about how that new tech can be applied to sports games. I hope devs take advantage of it and try to further a simulation experience. As cool as it is it would suck if if was only used for casual games.
