Can't wait to get back to the metal gear series. I've missed it since i don't have a ps3. I haven't been following this game so I didn't expect this. All I need now is mario on the xbox and I'm set.

More than that, for sure. They took tech from the Wii and made something similar, announced more sequels and obtain another exclusive title from Sony's camp.

Seems like they're more interested in branching out to every single conceivable market when I'm simply interested in the games.

The motion stuff MS showed isn't anything like the wii technology at all. It's more like a next gen eyetoy than anything else. However, it was obviously presented in a way to point out improvements on what the Wii does, since it's so popular. To say they took or stole the Wii motion controls is wrong. They're just going after the same crowd.

MS did a great job presenting titles their core consumers enjoy, while branching out into the avatar games and Live stuff. Sequels are a part of the industry, Sony and Nintendo will have their shows full of them as well.

I really do not think microsoft Stole MGS, Konami realizes they will sell more copies on Xbox.

That's why I put it in quotes. It's just "bragging rights" for guys on message boards. Ultimately, it's stupid. Can't avoid it though, even here.

I dont know man. I have both consoles and I was really impressed. The motion stuff was ground breaking. I RARELY play action games and there were 3 that I'm considering buying just based off of the trailers (Alan Wake, Splinter Cell and Call of Duty). To each his own, I guess.

But you pretty much knew about all of the games prior to E3... I believe MGS was the only "wow" and there wasn't much to wow about.

Ironic thing about it is the Netflix announcement was actually more exciting than anything today.

Not true, Ive watch every E3 since G4 started covering it...Back when the Wii was showed off at E3, MS said they was working on something similar...Not to mention PS3 had their motion controller...

I agree on the games we all knew about besides Crackdown 2, Left 4 Dead 2 and Halo Reach (even though all were rumored).

But we hadn't seen in game footage of any of them.

It's the same for both companies. Sony will have God of War 3, Gran Turismo 5, Uncharted 2, Ratchet and Clank 5, etc. Sony does usually have 2-3 complete shockers in announcements, but they are normally years off. I remember how great MAG looked, and that game is still no where near seeing the light of day.

Either way, I can't wait for Sony's or Nintendo's tomorrow.

Microsoft really blew me away with their show today.

I'm interested in a ton of the games and the new motion controls look cool, not sure how much I'd use painting (although I'm sure it'd be fun to mess with on occasion) or talking to AI (but this technology is just wow, recognizing your emotions, crazy, skynet!!!!).

I will say what caught me the most off guard and has me the most excited though is Left 4 Dead 2, I play Left 4 Dead non-stop, can't wait for a new game with more campaigns and maps for survival! Plus the fact that it appears the characters now use pretty much whatever they can get their hands on as weapons (Dead Rising style) adds a new element.

About time!

Now only if they lowered their price on HDD's. $149 is too damn much, and it will always keep features like this from taking off.

The 120 gig HDD would cost less than $60 if it didn't have a proprietary case, and making you own will risk a console ban. They could cut the HDD price in half and still swim in the money from the added amount of users who will end up filling their added HDD space on Live.

WOW is all I can say MS brought the goods, I love Natal, I love when companies come with a vision. I'm going to pick this up as soon as the Natal goes live.

Actually MAG has been running since November I think and we'll see full gameplay tomorrow, or at least I think we should.

Now this is cool and should have been part of the presentation.

For me hearing that Crackdown 2 is a reality, a new Metal Gear, and Halo Reach is excellent news. I think the motion stuff has a lot of potential and very neat.

We can't count out Nintendo or Sony till tomorrow, but I fear that MS today stomped on both of them unless Sony has a wild card. I just don't feel like Nintendo is going to bring much to the table, but maybe they learned their lesson from last year's lackluster conference.

I like that Halo:ODST trailer. I didn't think I would be excited for a Halo game again.

Also interested in Crackdown 2 with more multiplayer options and the Alan Wake game.

Motion controls on 360 I could do without.
