I also have one and it's been going strong for about 5 years.

Do you guys get full 4 bars for your wireless? I just bought one and got a NetGear router and it sucks. Played 1 game of UFC before I gave up, then I noticed the connectivity was going between 1 (red) and 2 (orange) bars.

I've tried port-forwarding, I've tried static IP address...nothing. Then I find out that the NetGear WPN824v3 isn't an approved Live router. I guess I'm going to take it back and buy one that is.

I usually do. I just depends on the activity in my neighborhood since I have cable internet. I have a Linksys WRT54gs router. It's a little older model, but I haven't had a single problem with it. They do sell a newer model of this router though.

it works great, but mine just stopped working all together, so now i'm going to try to do the laptop bridge thing (or mac) i have both. I'm disappointed though because i can't replace it and don't think a product like that should
          stop working for any reason.

edit - i connected through my new iMac which was much easier and worked right away as opposed to my thinkpad which had too many problems trying and I never did get it to work.

It helped that the iMac tutorial guy on youtube was clear and concise to boot.
