Yeah, I've been almost exclusively PC since last August.

I've not bought any Xbox or PS3 games at all this year but I plan to break down and use my $50 Best Buy certificate and get the Last of Us next Friday!

Have been a console my gamer my entires for until I built a gaming PC last summer and haven't looked back. Only game that could make me go back to consoles would be a new College Hoops 2k game.

I only usually buy 3-4 games a year. I think I'm going to triple that this year. The worst part is I feel like most of them have been disappointing so far.

i bought "the last of us" a few days ago and only played it a bit. I'm stuck on BO2 and Madden. I barely have time to play any other games.

Yeah, I was doing well until the holiday deals started rolling out.

                New Super Mario Bros. 2
                Shin Megami Tensei IV
                Fire Emblem Awakening
                Animal Crossing New Leaf

                Add in for the 360
                NHL 14
                NCAA 14
                Madden 25
                NBA 2K14

And WWE 2K14 for the PS3, too.

Oh, and to round out the picture, I've got 25 DS games, 12 Vita games and 8 non-sports games for the PS3 and 360.

No way I am finishing all of these games, especially the sports titles. I'm a mess!

I have the hardest time trying to play some new games. A lot of time I'll be surfing the internet listening to music and I'll want to play a game. Problem is most SP games require you to listen to them and not music so instead of shutting my music off because I don't like to stop in the middle of albums I'll go play something casual like Binding of Isaac or NHL.

One of these days I am going to run through the hundred plus games I have on Steam. Not sure how or what order but it needs to happen. lol.

Steam sales ruined me and I have around 140 games on there now not to mention 40 or so on consoles. I think I've played a handful on the console and one steam game in total. I think I'm just a hoarder. Have it there in case I want to play it but I never do.

Even when I have time, the biggest issue for me sometimes is deciding what to play. By the time I do, if I do, time is gone and I end up doing something else.

My guilt now lies with systems. I love the PS4, but beyond 2K and BF4 I don't really play any other games. So I have went back to PS3 for some games.

Really wish the PS4 was backwards compatible as it would be easy to just have the one system.

So I'm back now and have a ton of games and back to feeling the guilt that I'm neglecting some of them way too much...I have a limited time when I can game so I try to maximize it and mix it up...

Last weekend I spent my entire night on Friday while my wife was at work playing Fallout 4 and NBA2K16. I felt sorta guilty about not playing more games in that 10 or 11 hours...especially considering I have some games I've barely played or not even played at all!! I felt really bad I "wasted" the entire night on just two games with so much to play!!!

This past weekend however I did much better. Friday night I kicked off with a couple of hours of Rise of the Tomb Raider on X1, then a game of online Madden 16 on PS4, then Until Dawn for a couple hours, then Need for Speed and finally some Fallout 4 before I decided to watch the new Roger Waters The Wall on PS4.

Then Saturday while Stef got her hair done I played Call of Duty 3 Black Ops for two hours, Forza 6 for two hours and lastly again some Fallout 4 for an hour or so.

So I still have yet to play Batman or The Witcher 3 on PS4 at all...maybe next weekend LOL

How about you guys, do you focus on one game until you beat it or try to spread your time out on a bunch of your most recent games?

How do you decide what to play? Do you feel guilt when you leave games unplayed or barely touched??

I've got 5 handhelds, PS4, PS3, PS2, Xbox 360, NES and Genesis games/systems all in my current rotation. You can't beat yourself up over games/systems that you don't get to. Unless you're able to spend all day, every day in front of your gaming systems, you have to divide and conquer.

Sports games still take up most of my time, but when I find a non-sports game that grabs me, I usually see that through to completion of the main story. A lot of games I'll play a little here and there, and I'm perfectly fine with that.

Just enjoy what you're playing is my best advice. If there's a game you're playing that you're not feeling, don't force yourself to finish it. Move on to something else.

Yeah I hear you, but for me most games I do enjoy once I get going in them but then I end up just ignoring my other games. Maybe I simply don't have enough time like I'd like and the issue is managing my time so I don't feel "guilty" for not playing enough.

A part of it is my wife guilts me too by like saying "why did you buy that, you'll play it for like a half a day then never touch it again.." lol and sadly sometimes that's true, I often don't feel like I'm getting enough back out of what I spend on my games.

PS I do rent games but for some reason I find that I play them less, put off starting them because I think "oh well it's a rental I can keep it until whenever..." LOL
