For those like me that don't know what built in Wi-Fi means, can someone fill me in? Does this mean I don't need a router or ethernet cord to be online?
You won't need to buy the $100 wireless adapter.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

it means MS got with 2006 and included wifi in the console. It'll pick up your wireless internet signal like the ps3 and wii have done for years.

I'm shocked they did it though, given how they love to gouge on accessories.

Really slick looking on the post-show. The HDD is hidden, built-in.

Current hardware is now $149 and $249 according to Greenberg.

The New slim i might get but i dont like the price i wish it was 249.99 but i really wished it had blu ray player also then it would be okay with the 299.99

the arcade's at 149.99 are a damn steal now especially if you can get a HDD on ebay for really cheap.

Wait, the Hard Drive is built-in? Why would they get rid of the detachable drives? Seems dumb to me.

I'm sure gamestop will have trade in deals for the new slim. They'd probably love to give you $50 towards a slim for your current 360.

still detachable but may be (must be?) a different size than current

Damn I want the Slim... I've been wanting to upgrade to an HDMI-equipped 360 for a while now and also get a wireless router, so this is right up my alley. Now if I can manage to avoid only getting $50 or something for my old-*** white 360.

I wonder if the existing transfer cable will work with this or a new one has to be bought? My xbox died and I was waiting for this to buy another one.
