They've been doing the $25 trade in bonus for hardware. They give $60 for the 360 console with a wireless controller, and buy the HDD separately. So the $25 is in addition to all that.

Used 360's can go for as low as $70-80 on ebay, so it's not a horrible deal if you're looking to get rid of it. They may even do a different trade in deal towards buying a slim.

Wow, the gamestop out here said 80 for an arcade and 12 for a 20gb HDD

Ridiculous to me either way

yeah, I easily remember paying $400 for my first 360 in 2007, but years of RROD devalued the used consoles pretty hard. MS banning modded consoles didn't help either.

I got my current arcade 360 for $70 on ebay shipped, while my broken ps3 sold for $80. So the ps3 holds its value better.

Well spoke to a few more BB in my area and they said next week, the reason being is because they want to run a nice add in the Sunday paper for a Tuesday pickup, there waiting so buyers could get a heads up in the flier this Sunday.

Yup, I called the one by my work and they said the same thing. It sounds like BB is going to get these next week and watch for the campers on Monday. LOL! Best Buy aggravates me with this, they did the same thing with the Wii's when they would come in during the times when it was hard to find. They would keep the Wii's in the back and build up, then they would run an ad saying that they had them on Sunday. LOL!

just ordered from gamestop.com, I wanted to pick over night shipping but forgot, tried to change my shipping since I only order it a little over an hour ago, they couldn't change the shipping because they said the label was already sent to the warehouse and my 360 is in the processing of being shipped.

I got the 3 day ups shipping for free. Oh Well. I'm still happy.

I sure hope this new design is stable. GS employees are starting to look at me funny even with my warranty every two months as if its my fault I have to keep bringing the console back for a swap.

I am picking one up on Friday as well. I like the color mainly because it will match with everything on my second gaming setup. I guess I will have a spare white 360 now lol.

It is going to look so much better with everything black, the white 360 stands out too much. (yes I'm aware of the cords all about, I'll get to sorting them out after the world cup)

i called my local gamestop they getting it in friday at around 11:00 a.m

gamestop is also giving you a 25 dollar trade in bonus for your consoles

Its $100 not $25....They are also giving more for Wireless controllers ($25) and for hard drive.

My gamestop is getting 4 new Xbox's.

I sure hope this new design is stable. GS employees are starting to look at me funny even with my warranty every two months as if its my fault I have to keep bringing the console back for a swap.

I work in the PC/Technical field. And 23 I will tell you this, the RROD was caused by overheating issue with the system ,the new design has a 45nm chip which will kill any over heating issue at all.

yes, however there's an internet rumor of a GS deal that offers $100 for a trade in towards a slim specifically. The rumor also lists 360 accessories that have had a value bump if traded towards a slim as well.
