I clicked each of them and it downloaded the avatar to my VITA as well as the track part.

I also have the content manager all set up on PC , did the update and backed up the VITA on PC.
Not that I needed to yet but wanted to see how it worked..

BTW, when you plug the Vita into the PS3, you can't back out of the PS3 on screen display.

Love this thing and I haven't even played a game yet.

It took me about 1.5-2 hours to get it fully charged out of the box as I lost track of time working on a few things. Now it could depend by Vita since who knows how weak or strong the battery is on each individual handheld.

Didn't some developers say that developing for the Vita is very similar as developing on the PS3? So it should be very easy to for them to port over games, etc.

Same here man. How many systems you ever get where even going through the tutorials is a must lol
I'm playing around with NEAR... I have 5 people surrounding me with VITA's... who knew.

I did get the screen protector on. I SUCK at this.. always have. However I managed to get this one on with only 3 small little bubbles on far right. I can live with that.

Somebody, it might have been Mark Rein, said they only had the thing for a couple of weeks and had ported something from the PS3 to demo.

yeah I wish there was a way to remove icons from your home screens and just have an app drawer or something to open up.

I picked up mine at Best Buy. Target didn't have any of the 4Gb memory cards, so I had to go to Best Buy and buy one.

I picked up Uncharted, Hot Shots Golf twice, as the guy told me I could just return it for The Show when it releases. He said they didn't know anything about the preorders on b2g1 free deal.

He better be right. I am going to be pissed if they don't let me return it.

You can hold down on any app until it enters edit mode (like the iphone etc..) and move the icon to another page... etc...

I just included The Show in my b2g1. All I need to do now is head to BB on the 6th to pick it up.

I'm so weak. I succumb to the hype and picked up a Vita at Target this afternoon along with the 4GB memory card. This thing sure is gorgeous. It actually feels heavier and more solid than the demo unit I played with at Game Stop and Best Buy.

I assume it's ok to just start charging it without inserting the memory card or doing any kind of set up?

Which games thus far are your guy's favorites?

The setup guide said to put in memory then charge but doubt it matters. I have heard nothing but great things about UC and HSG is uber fun. I'd go to Best Buy.com and do their buy 2g1 free deal as they include pre-orders also. SO I ordered HSG, UC and The Show. Then picked up the 2 at store and will get The Show at release.
Or if there's 3 out you like now you can get all 3 now.
