If you ordered it right now, it will be delivered tomorrow by Amazon as part of their release day preorder deal. Personally, I think Amazon has the best deal going right now.

PS Vita Wi-fi = $249.96 plus a free 4 GB card just add it to your cart.
B2G1 Free deal on PS Vita games this week.
    No Tax for most.
Free Shipping for most including free release day delivery or 2 day Amazon Prime for some of the games or accessories.

They deposit the money direct into your checking account. At least that is how mine is set up. you may be able to just get Amazon credit, I haven't looked.

I'm thinking of going digital for all but one game as well so I can have everything with me at all times and not have to switch games in and out on the bus and whatnot.

I ordered Hot Shots online through Future Shop on Sunday figuring it would get to me before Wednesday as even with standard shipping I usually get things within 2 days where I live. But for some reason, they still haven't shipped it. I was going to make that game my physical copy and go digital for the rest but now I figure I'll just get it digitally and return the copy they send me or else I'll have no game to play when I get my system tomorrow.

The only other games I'm planning on getting in the short to middle term are The Show, Mortal Kombat and possibly Madden. The rest will be smaller PSN games and possibly some PSONE classics provided they get those working. I'd love to give FFVII another look.

For my physical game, I figure The Show is a much better alternative than Hot Shots as it's bound to be 3 or 4 times the size so I'd save on memory card space going this route.

I also need to decide between a 16 gb or 32 gb card. I'm good for games either way as I doubt Hot Shots, MK and Madden take more than 8 to 10 gb combined.

I don't know how much future downloading of PSN games I'll be doing though and I'd like to have the space to put some TV episodes on this thing so I can watch them on the bus. Is the video support good on this thing? I'm guessing AVI files play just fine?

Considering it might end up being priced at $7.99 and you can play it both on PS3 and Vita, it looks like a total steal!

I don't know if the review happened to mention cross-platform online play, though. They said you can play on either console, but they didn't say whether it was like WipEout where you can play PS3 users from a Vita or vice-versa. Any word on that?

EDIT: Nevermind, no real time online multiplayer at all. Heh, that just dwindled the value of this thing big time, though it still seems like a steal of a purchase.

Is there some type of military game out for the vita now? Just saw a commercial and it looked like some type of shooter he was playing and it was not uncharted....I don't think!

IGN mentioned $8 in their article George, so we'll see if that's accurate. I'm all over it for that price.

I wonder if Shank/Shank 2 will ever become available on the Vita...
