No problem. It's March 6 for the release date and this is releasing from Zipper who has worked on Socom that is why this looks so similar.

Excellent, thanks Jason. For $8 this is well worth it considering it will work on both systems.

I got UC, Hot Shots, and Wipeout for 85$ yesterday. I saw the Target price too and thought that 6 extra dollars wasn't a big deal. Plus, that purchase got me 50$ off any Gamestop purchase with my points. 250$ for my 3G release version.

I have enough games lying around in the home with 3 xboxes and 2 PS3. I'm thinking of adding the 32 GB memory card because going digital will be the way to go if someone can answer the following questions. Are all newly released games going to be available to be downloaded from the PSN store on February 22. Also, are future releases going to be available on PSN the same day they are released in the retail stores?
All the games are supposed to be released digitally the day they hit retail including the launch titles. I'm sure this will be the case with Sony games and I can only hope all other companies will do the same.

I always go digital since I really don't like to trade in games. I rarely buy used because I want to support the developer and I'm financially able too. Also there is no real way to lose your game and hopefully future iterations of the console will be able to have backwards compat.

I ordered Hot Shots online through Future Shop on Sunday figuring it would get to me before Wednesday as even with standard shipping I usually get things within 2 days where I live. But for some reason, they still haven't shipped it. I was going to make that game my physical copy and go digital for the rest but now I figure I'll just get it digitally and return the copy they send me or else I'll have no game to play when I get my system tomorrow.

The only other games I'm planning on getting in the short to middle term are The Show, Mortal Kombat and possibly Madden. The rest will be smaller PSN games and possibly some PSONE classics provided they get those working. I'd love to give FFVII another look.

For my physical game, I figure The Show is a much better alternative than Hot Shots as it's bound to be 3 or 4 times the size so I'd save on memory card space going this route.

I also need to decide between a 16 gb or 32 gb card. I'm good for games either way as I doubt Hot Shots, MK and Madden take more than 8 to 10 gb combined.

I don't know how much future downloading of PSN games I'll be doing though and I'd like to have the space to put some TV episodes on this thing so I can watch them on the bus. Is the video support good on this thing? I'm guessing AVI files play just fine?
Went to Future Shop at lunch as I wanted the Rocket Fish Vault case and I had pretty much made up my mind to go with a 16 gb card. Turns out they were out of the 16gb. I ended up deciding that the extra cost for a bigger card necessary to go with the nearly all digital games route wasn't worth it for me to save the small hassle of changing games in the system so I picked up an 8 gb card.

I came very close to picking up FIFA but decided against it figuring I'd hardly ever play it once The Show comes out. I did get a $50 PSN card to buy some online stuff but I'll most likely just use that on PSN and PSONE games, again assuming they get PSONE titles to work eventually.

Now I just need to hold off on downloading HSG tomorrow as I will be getting it through the mail most likely Thursday and I got it for 29.99. This means no game for me tomorrow to try out the system. It might be hard but I only have a couple of hours free and I will be going through the whole setup procedure. My guess is Thursday's going to be a pretty long day at work.

Same here. I don't trade or buy used games for the same reason as you. Thanks for the reply. 32 GB it is.

When you download games on the Vita do you have to have a memory card or is there some memory built into device. Meaning do all saves and downloads need a memory card as soon as you turn system on.

You need a memory card. As cheap as flash memory cost, they could put 4 gb in it.

I finally played the demo last night, and now I don't think I'll be able to hold out much longer. Did it take you a while to get used to the aiming? I had a tough time in the demo on chapter 10. Definitely not as precise as I am on the PS3.

Aiming is rough for the first bit, but you get used to it.
