Picked my Vita up tonight

Got everything synched up, but am now trying to charge up the system using the AC Adaptor and I'm not seeing any light on the PS button. I've tried a few different outlets and still nothing.

Do I need to let the battery drain until I get a warning before I can charge the system?

I'm so stoked to have Netflix on this thing. That's going to be HUGE for when I travel. No more having to carry around UMD's

Tomorrow I pick up MLB 12 The Show.

Surprisingly, my wife was totally on board with the Vita purchase (after trades and gift cards, cost me less than $100). That must mean she has a pair of shoes or jeans she has her eyes on. I'm sure I'll find out the next time we go out.

Off work so I will be going to get the vita show/mass effect/MLB 2k12 at midnight. Yes, I have a problem.

We wouldn't be posting here if we weren't a little obsessed with games, right?

I hope to be sound asleep by midnight; I'll be picking my games up tomorrow morning ... MLB 12 The Show for PS3 and Vita.

Edit: OK, figured it out. I had the thing plugged in incorrectly. Light is orange now.

Yeah I read it can plug in both ways but it won't work both ways. Doesn't make a lot of sense.

Fellows I've been playing Unit 13 for the past hr or so and I'm digging it. What a change of pace from the typical shooters.
Sucks when go threw a mission thinking you've done well only to be told that you re slow. Lol

Yeah, that doesn't make any sense. I spent 20 minutes trying all the outlets in my kitchen and living room and was getting frustrated. Then, I flipped the thing around and it worked. Ah well, at least the Vita will be nice and charged when I pick up The Show tomorrow.

By the way, can someone please advise me where to input the online code for MLB The Show for the Vita? I know from reading other threads that the code won't work until tomorrow sometime but for the life of me I can't find where to even put in the code. Instructions say to go to your Playstation Network icon on the Xcross Media Bar. I am not finding this icon and I am not sure what the Xcross Media Bar even is. Thanks.

I know you've been married longer than I have. But hate to break it to you she already bought the shoes or jeans and has been hiding them from you. Now she doesn't have to hide them anymore.

And now all we need for Vita after The Show is Madden with Defensive Reverse Camera. Haha.

As for question I didn't let it drain. I just plugged it in and played. Battery life seems fine so don't think it matter but maybe some of the expert know the real answer. I am very impressed with the battery life though. Seems to last forever.
