The batting in MLB The Show is not the easiest for newcomers, in terms of picking up pitches well. But it does have a wide range of sliders and hitting modes to help you find just the right fit. Pitching and fielding is pretty standard and easily picked up. Pitching has a lot of different modes to pitch also, ranging from one button to meter to analog pitching.

I almost went out and bought it on the way home from my hockey game today, but didn't. I think I'll wait a little while for a demo or something to come out on the Vita.

Very stupid question: When you have a Vita and a PS3...you have to buy the same game for both systems, correct?

Like 2 copies of MLB The Show- one copy for PS3 and one copy for Vita?

Yes. If you buy The Show between now and 3/11, I believe, you get $20 off the Vita version.

When uploading the Show to the cloud. Can I start my franchise on the Vita and then upload to the PS3. Or do I have to start it on my PS3. My biggest concern is roster. I started a franchise on Vita after tweaking my rosters a little. Will those roster changes show up on my PS3?

Can start it on either I believe.

If you saved the roster file and upload it to the cloud then you can download the roster to PS3 with the changes. If you did not save the roster as a seperate file away from the franchise, then only the franchise will match.
