Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
It has something to do with deleting all the info on the cart itself. I have to find the site that gave me the 411 cause I can't remember the steps, as it's hard to find exactly what to delete and where to find it with all the different avenues the vita has.
There were three different methods, one using the content manager and a PC, another using the PS3, and the last going through the avenues on the Vita. I chose the latter.
And it's actually a rather easy thing to do just hard to find. I think I saw it on youtube. I'll post it after work as I blocked out of youtube from here.Last edited by Chef Matt; 06-04-2012, 11:43 AM.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Put the cart in, it will install. Long press to bring up the mode where you can move icons, change wallpaper, etc and tap the game, select delete. After it uninstalls, take the cart out and put it back in and let it reinstall.
That's what I did for Katamari I rented from Gamefly.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Sony says the cure to their dwindling sales is more hardware colors.
....
The PS Vita has sold 1.8 million units worldwide since it launched earlier this year, which Sony CEO Kaz Hirai described as "a good start." The company has been looking to ignite the dwindling hardware sales via new app downloads and hardware colors.
Sony Worldwide Studios' Shuhei Yoshida explained to Eurogamer that a Vita price cut is not currently on the cards, stating, "From the value for money standpoint, we think we have a good price for what the system is."
He continued, "Our priority is to achieve the potential through more games and services. Of course people who are looking to buy are also talking about the price of PS Vita, especially when they have to buy a memory card as well."
"That's something we have to spend time to cost reduce and address in the future. But now, our laser-focus is to increase the content and to realise the potential of the system."
Gamasutra editor-at-large Chris Morris suggested earlier this year that Sony needs to cut the price of the Vita sometime soon, given how badly it is selling in comparison to Nintendo's 3DS and the Vita predecessor, the PSP.Comment

Even still, I don't see how 32GB memory cards cost a thing for them. They really should be cheaper, if not somehow bundled more often with systems.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Sony actually has 25 new Vita games at E3... but forgot to mention them
It's OK, it's not like it was of vital importance or anything
Sony, who have today admitted that, in trying to cut down the length of its press conference, they missed out the Vita. And actually there are 25 new games to play on the showfloor. Get your Picard facepalm pics ready, folks.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
They could have even taken four minutes to build a montage trailer of the upcoming games. Again, if "cutting down the length" fits right in with the extra length of Wonderbook, it would have been nice to take four minutes out of that presentation for a video.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Yeah, they have 25 games. Most of them are crap that I am not interested in, however.
madden has gone from a must-buy to a maybe, probably not without cloud saves.
I'm not interested in playing a woman assassin in the revolutionary war, so AC is out.
I'll buy MGS Collection because I never played all the way through MGS 2/3 on PS2.
PS All Stars??? Come on man its a ripoff concept with 2nd and 3rd rate characters.
Soul Sacrifice, Jet Set Radio, Sound Shapes, Guacamelee - all good games i'm sure but not my cup of tea - i'm out.
No NBA 2K. No PES. No new GTA announced. No COD footage.
EPIC FAIL
I'll buy retro city rampage if it ever comes out.Comment
