I personally wouldn't be getting this if it wasn't for the Vita version. HD remakes are nice, but on a big screen they still show their age IMO. On a smaller screen though, they look great, as it hides a lot of the imperfections, etc. If more of these remakes came to te Vita I'd probably buy them, but I just have a hard time justifying them on the PS3 when there are so many great looking current gen games out there.

I picked up the PS3 version because of cross-platform saves, but haven't opened it yet, and the more I think about it, the more I may just stick with the Vita and swap the PS3 version out for something else. I don't think I'd use the cross-saves as much as I do for MLB The Show.Currently Playing:

Thanks guys. That settles it then. I truly appreciate your guys opinions. The Show
FIFA
Resistance
For a while i was really into unit 13 and lumines too.
Lemme say this about Resistance. Im not a FPS guy. I dont play COD. But i got this on Vita for the multiplayer and i LOVE it. I think this game got a bad rap review wise because its not COD or Battlefield, and its not a revolutionary FPS. But to have a handheld online FPS of this quality is awesome.
Some of the reviewers dont seem to "get" the Vita and that effects review scores. There was a review of MGS on Kotaku where the guy was like, with this game i finally "get" the vita. I dont even think about ipad games when im playing this thing.Comment

I also own MotorStorm RC and Super Stardust Delta, but not currently "playing them" at the moment.
Waiting on LittleBigPlanet, COD, Zen Pinball 2, and PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale to come out.Last edited by Blzer; 06-16-2012, 11:12 AM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
So I broke down and got Metal Gear, and it is AWESOME. As I expected, it looks fantastic on the Vita, and since I never played these before, it's cool finally getting that chance. I'll say this too, about the controls and camera for Metal Gear 2... they definitely aren't "great", and for sure show their age, but they also aren't nearly as bad as some make them out to be. Cumbersome? Maybe. But to the point where they detract from the game? Definitely not. And honestly, the top-down view is kind of nice on the smaller Vita screen.
This was a great buy for a Metal Gear newbie like myself.Comment
