I have to say that despite being disappointed with some games not coming to the Vita, I'm still really happy with my purchase. I see other people asking if Vita owners regret their purchase. I can only speak for myself, but I'm not regretting it one bit.

Between The Show, FIFA, Metal Gear Solid Collection, Resistance, Unit 13, Motorstorm RC, and Lumines, I've got plenty to play on Vita. In fact, over the past couple of months it has become my primary gaming system, even though I have all the systems at home. You can't beat sitting on the couch with your wife or kids while they watch what they want and I get in a game on my Show franchise!

I'm looking forward to Madden next month, it wouldn't shock me if I played all year on Vita and skipped the PS3 version until next year.

LOL! Beat me to it.

Sony has said today that PS Classics support will be added to Vita via the system’s version 1.8 firmware update. Although this was previously announced, this is the first time that Sony has mentioned the firmware by number.

Firmware version 1.8 firmware update was mentioned during Sony’s announcement of the PlayStation 2 Game Archives service for PlayStation 3 which hits Japan soon – the latter is already available in the US and Europe.

There is currently no date for PS Vita Firmware V1.8 other than ‘Summer’.

I don't think they have said, but I would think so based on other similar stuff (PSN games on both systems, minis).

I don't know how many of you have Gravity Rush, but I picked it up yesterday, and it has quickly vaulted to the top of my Vita Must-Own list. Awesome game, and GORGEOUS.

You can see my thoughts on the first page... needless to say, this will be a no-buy if what I said holds true. Seems to be nothing more than a lazy port at this point.

Do we know if it has in-game saves like the PSP versions? Always fascinated me that the handheld, with limited memory, had this ability while the consoles did not. For me, this is a make or break point.

No.. I'll give it a shot this weekend. Have 3 more nights (including tonight) before next day off. (Only 2 more months of night shift thanksfully)

Would it be wise to pick up FIFA now or just wait until FIFA 13? I kind of want to get it but at the same time I don't want it to be outdated.

I'd wait. I really like FIFA but from what I've heard, 13 on the Vita is supposed to mirror the console version.
