Okay, buying Tomba this second. Thanks!

I have it for PSX, but as I said earlier, it's just not the same doing it through Remote Play.

Could care less about playing PSX games on the VITA. Give me something unique for crying out loud. Most if not all games for VITA are on PS3.

Quick question about playing PSOne games on Vita:

Is there a way to change the screen size? It doesn't seem to fill up the screen, and you don't get the options like you would with Remote Play (no touch screen options whatsoever, so it seems).

If anyone knows, any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: By the way, I don't mean filling the sides, I know it's supposed to have the black bars. But the top and bottom are also not filled out, so it's like a small square within the entire screen, black bars everywhere.

Not sure where the settings are but according to info I grabbed of web about PS1 games on VITA:

"The Vita has a screen mode where you can select Original, Normal, Zoom and Full screen, the great thing about full screen mode there is Zero loss in quality so there must be a good upscaler at work, also with some good control options as well."

Hmm, I'm not seeing it anywhere. I know stuff like that is partly available for Remote Play... not so much here.

The way it works in Remote Play is you tap the screen, and up comes a right frame menu, where you can select certain options, such as control and display. You can't do this when playing a downloaded PSOne game.

Try Pressing (not tapping) touch screen for 2-3 seconds then select other options.

Ah yes, holding works. I did hold before, but it's more like three seconds, and I would always try for two.

                  Thanks!

Unfortunately, even still, I can't seem to fill the top and bottom unless I cut them off completely to fill the sides. It's okay though, I can get it much closer!

I've actually been considering getting one but holding on to the vita. I have like ten ds games I can't use bc my ds broke, and its not too bad on price. Plus beating the ocarina of time is on my bucket list lol

I hear you...the main one I'm waiting for (Persona 4 next month) is also a re-hash, but it's a rehash of a game I never really got too far into, so most of it will be very new to me.

Still playing the HSG Daily's every day, and using the Pinball Arcade (and soon, Zen 2) to kill time. Don't see myself getting tired of the Vita anytime soon, although I do hope some more originals are brought out soon.

It will hopefully pick up. Sony's mistake is well documented. To get the hardware to a fully functional order, it cost more than $300. 4GB is not enough.

Anyway, I wish there was a way to try out the PSOne games first. I want to get Cool Boarders and Jetmoto but not sure how it plays on the vita.

Tomba plays great on it, but it doesn't need L2/R2.

Games which need those buttons will be extremely difficult to play, because they exist on the top right/left of the rear touch pad.

You can remap buttons so as long as there are two bottons you don't need as much, dpad included.
