You said you registered it because you transferred a PS1 game, but did you register it under remote play?
PS3= Settings->remote play settings->register device
It's different than the content manager.

Yea, I registered it that way as well. I get to where i can choose connect via private network or internet and both options fail. I cant remember the error message i get, and i am at work at the moment.

Well, if everything is set up right, maybe it's something in your router.

If you have AT&T you should check out the new mobile data sharing plan. I was able to add my vita and 2 iPhones with 6 GB of data for the same price I'm paying now which was 2 iPhones and 4 GB total data. It's only $10 to add the vita to your account. It includes free voice and text too.

Guys, I have something very positive to day one again about the vita, I own all 3 systems and again after Madden 13, ncaa 13, and nhl 13, and the mlb the show, and as u can see I'm primary a sports gamer, I keep coming back the crap out of my Vita, I really live this little bundle of pour gamer heaven.. I play Madden more on the vita then I do on the xbox, and honestly like it more, in play the show more on the vita as well.............................................. ........................................ Most of my gaming has come on the vita.. It's like the vita is my system of choice lately, and it's scary.. U don't don't mean that in a bad way either, I just totally enjoy gaming more on the Vita then anything at this point. Maddens first attempt on the vita has impressed me thus far, as many other games have.. Can't wait for call of duty, and some other games that have been announced.. Just hope vita gets ncaa and nhl and nba 2k next year and I will be the most happiest.. Again sing on the vita upnto this point has be very impressive imo.. Hope it just gets the support it truly deserves. Anyone else feel the way I do thus far?

Glad you're having fun with it. I'm selling mine I believe.
Unless a miracle happens soon and they decide to make actual good VITA games, it's simply a waste for me.
If I knew it was just going to be a PS3 Mini I would have passed.

I really only need a few games.

- MLB The Show
- ZEN Pinball
- LBP

These will be the most frequently played games in my Vita until COD, assuming online play will be any good.

I don't need a multitude of good games to come out. I just need to not be bored of the games that I have.

All of those I have on PS3. Just thought we'd have a nice selection of VITA games and not PS3 games.
My fault for not waiting to see how the system panned out though.

Well, I may be different than others, but I was mostly looking forward to bringing my PS3 on the go. That was the biggest reason I wanted a Vita.

I'm not much for exclusives. If a Vita got a good one, I'd be here saying: "Why can't we have that for PS3?"

My least favorite thing to see, actually, is a franchise with two different games. I'd rather see more crossover games. I wish COD was like that.

Yeah I'm the total opposite. I want new experiences not the same stuff in another format. Cross over is not even remotely interesting to me.
Again I blame myself for not seeing how it would pan out. Live and learn I guess.

Ugh. My head hurts from reading that guys post.

I finally got my remote play to work. Because i ticked the automatically start box I thought it would automatically start (stupid me right?) So I went and started the program on my PS3 and it started to work.

I was sort of disappointed with what the remote play options have. I thought you could play anything on your Vita that was pre installed on your PS3 but that wasn't the case. What is the best way to determine what can be played on the Vita from remote play?

yes, i feel the exact same way. it's just an awesome system. i have every system and i play this over all of them. between madden, the show, FIFA, sound shapes, street fighter (psp) and getting a FPS fix with Resistance, this system provides everything i want. especially considering all the trouble with CCM on Madden this year.

really excited for LBP, NFS Most Wanted, the new FIFA, Retro City Rampage (if it ever comes out), Call of Duty and Killzone.

i work 7-6 every day. that means i leave my house around 6:30 and get home around 6:45. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

I have a 2 year old and a 6 year old, and when i get home, i spend time with them and get them into bed. then of course my wife wants to talk my ear off for an hour. so my console time is SEVERELY LIMITED. and when i do get time, i'm usually exhausted. so for me, this thing is AWESOME. it's not a full ps3 experience, the graphics aren't exactly the same, and some of the games have framerate problems.

But I couldn't care less. it's 85% of a console experience that i play on my lunch hour, on coffee breaks, and in bed while my wife watches a show where someone destroys and remodels another $700,000 home. i couldn't be happier with this thing!
