I'm curious what people are calling frame rate issues. I have the digital version and although there are times I can tell it drops below 30 fps I would not call it "stuttery" or anything like that.



Those with the hard copy are you saying it is smooth the whole time? I had the hard copy for '13 and I feel like if anything it is smoother this year with my digital version of '14...

I feel the same way. There are times when the games frame rate drops a little bit, but it hasn't affected the game play at all. Fielding has been smooth for me. I also have a digital copy.

I doubt it, especially with the move to remote play with the PS4. I would love to see one as I take my Vita with me on all my business trips, and would love to have an NBA tame to play.

Yeah, with remote play on the PS4 there's probably even less of a reason to expect it.

Absolutely nothing has happened to change the landscape and earn back and support that has been lost - for both the Vita and Wii U. There are at least 4 better platforms that are a higher priority for 3rd parties (360/One/PS3/PS4), with mobile phones, 3DS, etc in the mix too.

Good job, Scoop! I'm curious how Jak & Daxter is on the Vita. I've got the PS3 version, but haven't played it yet. If it's solid, I may just pick it up and trade in the PS3 copy.

PlayStation Vita 'Slim Model' Release Date Revealed

If you've been holding out on a purchase of PlayStation Vita until the all-new model comes out, then you're in luck. PlayStation Vita's new iteration -- the so-called "Slim" or 2000 model -- is set for release in North America on May 6th. (Europeans can already purchase PS Vita Slim; it launched on February 7th.)

Picked up a Vita today with Persona 4 Golden...what are some other maybe must plays or what have you? Good PS Plus games?

Gravity Rush, Uncharted Golden Abyss and Unit 13 are all Plus games and well-worth playing.

Any of the MLB The Show games.

Madden 13 is really good.

The Walking Dead is great if you haven't played it already.

Persona 4 Golden is praised by a lot of people (haven't played it).

Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remaster just dropped, so there's 2 more RPG's.

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.

Tearaway should be experienced by anyone who owns this handheld.

Hot Shots Golf World Invitational is addictive and tons of fun.

There's a good number of PSP and PS One games worth downloading, too.

The number of games without even a screen shot is stupid and maddening on the Vita. Has saved me from a number of impulse buys.
