Definitely interested to see how this pans out. Since I don't have a PS3, I'd have to buy them in the SEN store. I'd love to have the Crash games on my Vita.

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
HOORAY!
Most importantly... I can play Suikoden on my Vita now! Also, Legend of Mana and Legend of Dragoon. BUT SUIKODEN.
Now if only they'd get off their asses and make a PSN version of Suikoden II. I still have to use my PC to play that. Hell, I'd even buy multiple copies just to support them bringing it to digital. I forgot to look if I still had my original copy at home, it may have gotten lost in one of my Mom's moves. That thing is worth a couple hundred bucks still.badComment

Double Posting because news.
Suikoden II PSN Classic (siliconera)
I always ask for this, hah.
Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment coming to NA this Summer (siliconera)
I don't expect greatness from this game, but if it's a decent tie-in to the show (with what I'm assuming will be some natural fan-service-y Japanese moments, those I can look past if they aren't abundant) I'll be all over this.
Quick bits on Hollow Fragment.
Spoiler
- Multiplayer mode where you take your partner (where I assume the fan-service-y pillow talk comes into play) along. 4-players, each with their partners for a team of 8. You can set your partner's AI.
- Can do the multiplayer mode with a group of partners, though this limits you to a team of 5.
- Your avatar by default is Kirito, but you can change the name and look.
- Bonus/alternate costumes like the Japanese always love.
- Reflex-y based attacks utilizing the "Just Attack" system.badComment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
So I randomly bought Demon Gaze off the PSN Store today. I have no idea how long it is, and my very first impressions.
- it's been a long time since I've played a first person dungeon crawler and it uses turn based combat. I'm in.
- Fan service-y. Understandable if this turns people away from the game. I don't blame you. I'm relatively numb to it now as long as there's a decent game underneath.
- once you get past the fan service, the artwork on the Vita screen (character art especially) is absolutely gorgeous. The 3D dungeons are average fare at best, but all the "drawn" stuff (characters, monsters, etc.) are downright magnificent.
- Difficult. Holy hell. I accidentally stumbled into a boss fight in the first area and lasted about 3 turns. Gives me hope for a surprisingly good game rather than a teen-fantasy-sprung-to-life masquerading as a game.badComment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Madden '10 was available at the time on there too, and there's no way they'd be allowed to normally distribute that game again after the Pecover v Electronic Arts mess.
Dissidia 012 is still there thankfully, because I didn't have the space to download that at the time.
And yeah, all the Valkyria DLC stuff is back to "cannot download".Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Ugh. I'm so glad that I didn't go too deep in on getting PSP and PS1 Classics (though I did get the Sega Genesis Collection), but this is still disheartening. I'm totally boned when my 64GB card gets here.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
So I don't really know what this was. I haven't played a video game in nearly four months (record?). Didn't really know that these things weren't previously available to download before for it. What exactly is off now that was there before? I'm kind of confused, I suppose. Like I said, I seem to remember playing Tomba right there on Vita like it was nothing. I can't recall if I could play it on my PS3 or if it was Vita specific.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
